Max quickly walked into the hospital and the nurse walked over to him. "He got stabbed in the side," He explained. The nurse quickly got one of the bed things, (idfk), and took Velius to the surgery room.

Velius looks at Max before he's carted off.

Max smiled at Velius when they made eye-contact as he was carted off.

Velius smiles weakly.

He slept soundly after the surgery, resting in one of the rooms.

Max kept fiddling with the hem of his shirt while tapping his foot.

After the surgery was done, he quickly went over to one of the doctors. "Is he okay?"

The doctor looked at the male. "He'll be alright. Just a night here and plenty of bedrest and he should be good."

Max felt relief wash over him when the doctor said Velius was going to be okay. "Okay then. Can I visit him?" He asked.

"He's resting at the moment, but yes, you may." He replies, smiling a little.

Max nodded. "Okay then," He said. He quietly opened the door to Velius' room and looked around.

Velius was resting on a bed, a blanket covering his body. His injuries, the worst to the smallest were taken care of, carefully wrapped, stitched, etc.

Max quickly walked over to Velius and sat down in a chair next to him, glancing over his injuries.

Velius groans softly before opening an eye then the other. "Ow…"

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"I'll be okay…" He answers, sighing quietly. "Are you okay?"

"Yea," Max answered.

V nods and sighs quietly.

"Who was the guy that tried to kidnap you?" He aske.

"An old enemy from work… I had a job to kill him and his family…" He mutters. "I failed."

"What do you mean?"

"I only managed to kill his wife and child. He shot me in the shoulder…" He reveals the wound's scar.

"Oh……" He muttered, gently touching wound's scar.

He shrugs and smiles a little. "No biggie."

Max glanced at him and kissed his forehead. "I love you."

"I love you too, babe." He mutters.

Max smiled slightly. "Why were you supposed to kill him and his family?" He asked.
