Alex gently pulls him through the crowd and away from the loud music to the front yard, “you should’ve slowed down on those drinks” he says with his jingly laugh

Adam replied with something inaudible, moving to lean against Alex and letting him lead him outside. Adam’s eyes drooped closed and he stumbled a little, holding onto Alex to keep himself upright.

Alex calls a cab and waits patiently for it, adjusting his stance slightly as to not fall over.
He sees the cab pull up and pulls Adam towards it, “alright Sunshine, lets go”

“Mmmmmhmmm…” Adam felt too sick to open his mouth, sliding into the back of the cab and laying sideways, unaware that he taking up most of the space. He let out a groan, continuing to clutch his gut.

Alex scoots in and sits near the very edge of the seat, he gives the cabbie his address and they start driving towards his house, “you good over there Sunshine?” He asks, deciding the ironic nickname is going to stick with him

Adam moved so he could cushion his head on Alex’s lap, groaning again as a wave of nausea passed over him, but he kept it down. “My head hurts…” He whining tiredly, swaying a little as the car moved.

“Aww” He says pitifully, before patting his head, “we’re almost to my house and once we get there I’ll get you nice and comfy in bed and you won’t even think about your head hurting”

Monty was peacefully driving down the road when it started acting strange. *Oh god… well I’m going to go back there now.” He heeded his car around a sped to the place. He arrived shortly. He ran back inside and grabbed more beer. “WELP guess I’m here for tonight now. Great. I totally don’t have a pet to feed or anything lord! NO THATS TOTALLY CRAZY!”

Adam let out yet another small groan, clutching his stomach more as the ar continued down the road. Alex was so warm and comforting, Adam turned over to press his face in Alex’s abdomen, mumbling something inaudible.

Alex chuckles as the cab slows to a stop, he pays the man upfront before stepping out of the cab and carrying Adam with a surprising amount of strength, “alright Sunshine, here we are”

Adam didn’t open his eyes, instead groaning again, “Bathroom…” He felt the nausea rise up, causing him to wince as he tried to force it back down. He tried to focus on Alex, tried to ignore the pounding in his head. He hadn’t expected drinking to feel so bad.

Alex quickly unlocks his door and runs to his bathroom, setting him down carefully, “here we go, bathroom!”

Adam scrambled for the toilet, hurling up the remains left inside him. The nauseas feeling faded as he choked up the last bits, then wiped his face with his sleeve tiredly as he mumbled, “I hadn’t expected alcohol to be this bad…”

“Have you not drank before?” He asks, leaning on the door frame of the bathroom

“No…” Adam mumbled, looking away with embarrassment and a hint of shame. He curled his arms around himself, hoping the pain in his head would dull as he muttered, “I think someone dosed my fifth cup, but I don’t know…”

Alex kneels by him and pats his back, “nothin’ to be embarrassed about” he narrows his eyes, “if someone did put something in your drink..then they’ve got something wrong with them..”

“I think it was one of the girls, she wanted to… I just prefer g-“ Adam cut himself off, tensing slightly as he tried to cover up his mistake, “I- I mean she was really attractive and stuff, just didn’t want that tonight.” He turned red, hoping Alex wouldn’t catch how he almost was about to say he preferred guys.

Alex frowns slightly, disappointed, well…I should’ve known he liked girls, he manages to smile again, “I’ll set up your makeshift bed!” He says while humming happily
