"I personally think I was just making memories," Aspen laughed a little, "Who is going to forget that? Because I'm not."
"I personally think I was just making memories," Aspen laughed a little, "Who is going to forget that? Because I'm not."
“I agree with Chess.” Veronica nodded, then she added, “What even was the point of that?”
"Thank you Veronica." He put a particularly large book on the top.
"There was no point, why does there always have to be a point?" Aspen rolled her eyes, "It's not like everything we do or say has to have some purpose. I only did it because I had time and connections to a guy with chickens." she said wile making sure the balance on the arch way was right.
( I AIN'T GOING YET!)
Cara carried a huge pile of books onto the table and started sorting them. "Why did we have chickens again?" She asked in annoyance.
The tower Chesster built was wobbling. He cringed. "I probably shouldn't have put the biggest one on top, eh?"
“You’re welcome.” Veronica said, putting some books on the lower shelves.
"Because when we, enviably, had to clean it up we wanted birds that could not fly," Aspen pointed out, "Also we could find any goats or sheep."
The tower wobbled as Aspen gestured. "Could you not….maybe move so much?"
Cara glared at him like he just made it worse. Boredom got the best of her and she started making a tower of standing books.
"Ooh! a vintage gardening catalog!" Tahlia picked it up and started reading.
“Guys we’re supposed to be sorting, not making towers.” Veronica sighed, putting more books in the shelves.
"It going to fall if you don't start re isolating the center of gravity to the center of your tower, start putting smaller books on top again." Aspen offered.
"Here maybe if we make them tip into each other?" She suggested to Chesster.
"TOO LATE!" The tower toppled over. Chesster covered his head with his arms.
Veronica sighed and rolled her eyes, people never listened to her.
Tahlia looked up to see the books crash. "You guys are going to get us into more trouble for damaging the books!"
Chesster sat up. "Sorry guys. I did not think that through."
Cara backed away as the books crashed on the ground and started picking them up. "Might as well get done as fast as we can." She said.
Aspen held up a book that had it's edges eaten away by mice, "Yes, because these books are so important to the school."
Chesster rubbed his head. "I probably shouldn't stack anymore."
"Yeah. Gives them an excuse to punish us more Asp." Tahlia said, picking up some of the fallen books.
“You really shouldn’t,” Veronica said to Chesster.
He handed her a book. "I'll just hand you some and you stack 'em, V."
"If they are looking for an excuse, then their might be a bigger problem of the higher ups having it out for us." she looked dover the ruins of her arch way, "Maybe we should rebel."
