Seven Academy is a place for those gifted in the seven mystical arts. When one learns to control their chi/ki/qi, they can harness a special ability that is similar in nature to their soul's essence. These powers are Kasai, or fire, Mizu, or water, Chikyu, or earth, Kuki, or air, Tenshi, or light, and Akuma, or darkness. The last ability is Astral/Void, or Jigoku. Students have Math, Language, Science and History, along with Physical, and the class devoted to the elements. Getting in touch with one's Chakra, can help amplify the elemental powers, and allow for pulling off of occasional superhuman feats. Students are trained for one purpose and one only. To combat jinn, demons, evil spirits, and corrupt souls. Think you can make it here?

Fire: They can create and destroy fire, as well as manipulate the temperature, density, explosiveness and movement of fire, even making it defy physics. They are also resistant, but not immune, to it's effects.
Bonus: Only one person in history was able to lower the temperature of fire enough to make cold fire. People can get close though.
Water: They can create and destroy water, as well as manipulate the state of matter it's in, and they can control it's movements, even making it defy physics. Better at surviving in water than humans, but they're not too much better.
Bonus: Only one person in history was able to shape ice and direct mist, but people can get close.
Earth: Can manipulate the density and volume of Earth to and extent even shape it. Have minor magnetic powers. Great subterranean awareness.
Bonus: Only one person can actually reshape metals and this record is still standing proud.
Air: Can manipulate and control the temperature, density and power/speed of air, and winds. Can survive in higher altitudes than humans, but not better.
Bonus: Only one person can manipulate chlorine gas, but people are getting close.

Light: Can manipulate and control light, and make constructs of aether (light matter), and use aether (also light energy) to shoot energy, or project it through their bodies. Can block and heal minor attacks
Darkness: Can manipulate and control darkness, make constructs of nether (dark material), and project nether (also dark force) through their bodies or fire it as various blasts. Can drain small amounts of life, and curse wounds they inflict.
Purgatory/Astral/Void: Flight, telekinesis, can manifest a spirit animal, very minor probability manipulation.
