"No, I'm going to come get you. I want to make sure you're okay. Where are you?" Nate asked, just relieved to hear her voice again.

"At the school" she said as she sniffled once more.

Nate finally found her and drove her home, opening her door for her and holding her hand as they walked inside together.

Jessica sighed. ¨Thanks¨ she muttered.

"I'm sorry," Nate started to say, "I think the stress of being home after so long and coming home to find out that I have a daughter is just getting to me…" He sighed and turned to face her. "I don't know what to do anymore and I'm sorry I've taken this out on you."

¨Nate it´s my fault or maybe it´s our fault maybe we aren´t right¨ she said.

"What do you mean?" Nate looked worried and he dropped her hand, taking a small step backwards in shock.

¨Nate I love you I really do but your always gone and what if your o tour and you meet some girl and decide she´s better then me¨ she said.

"No, no, no. I love you. I wouldn't do that to you." Nate tried to convince her, "Please, I love you. I would never do that!"

Jessica smiled gently before taking nates hand

"Please don't leave me. I don't know what I'd do without you." Nate whispered and looked down at his feet while still holding onto Jessica's hand.

¨Ï won´t leave but Nate you have to understand I have other firends besides you¨ she said.

"I understand that but you also have to understand that decisions that have to do with our daughter need to go through both of us." Nate explained, looking back up at Jessica.

¨I understand that Nate but Dean is my very best friend and I wanna spend time with him Nate because I love him not like I love you but like a brother´ she explained.

Nate looked down again in embarrassment. "Okay." He whispered in defeat and started to head inside, hanging his head lowly, his shoulders slumped.

¨Nate¨ she said with a sigh. ¨I don´t know what you wany frpm me¨ she said

"No, I understand. I'm sorry." Nate whispered and continued walking into the apartment with his head down. He walked into Lucy's room to check on her.

Jessica sighed ¨Good talk¨ she mummbled.

After checking on Lucy, Nate walked into the TV room to fall asleep on the couch for the night.

Lucy notices the sudden quietness in the home and decides it would be a well enough time to get some attention so she wails as loud as possible.

Jessica groaned as she got up and went to Lucy''s room.

Allie arrived at the house and knockity-knock-knocked on the door.
