Ebony frowned. How had this happened? She sighed. "Fine, I can but… don't tell anyone. Please. No one else knows."

Lima’s rolled his eyes. “I’m not going to tell anyone… mostly because I don’t have anyone to tell.” he said. He stuck out his hand. “I’m Max,”
(Autocorrect how on earth did you get Lima’s from Max?)
(That's hilarious.)
She shook his hand. "Nice to meet you, Max. My name's Ebony… yeah, I'm a girl," she said, smiling at the look on his face. Then she shifted to her original form. "And I normally look like this."
All of a sudden, a girl, cloaked in shadow, appeared behind Max. (Is that ok?) She sheathed the knife she had been carrying and said, “Hi. You all okay? I was on a round around the neighborhood and you guys looked stressed.”
“Could you keep yourself like that?” Max asked. “I’m going to get confused,”
Max jumped when someone spoke behind him and turned around.
By the time people noticed the two tied up men, Lucian was gone, jogging through alleyways away from the scene. He tugged his mask off, the thrill of it causing him to involuntarily grin like a mad man. He soon emerged on a different street, smoothing down his hair as he looked around.
"Yep, but I normally shapeshift whenever I go somewhere so…" (Gonna notice Margaret in a second.)
Max jumped when someone spoke behind him and turned around.
“Hi,” the girl waved, stepping out of shadow. She was wearing a navy hoodie and jeans, and there was a untility belt strung around her waist. “I’m Meg. You are?”
Ebony noticed the shadows move, and shifted, automatically on guard, but once the girl stepped into the light, it became clear that there was no danger, and she shifted back. Now she just revealed her powers to this girl too. What a day.
“Oh! You have powers! That’s awesome! My parents have powers, but I don’t. I’m just good with knives and ultimate frisbee,” Meg said. “Sorry. I talk too much when I’m nervous. Not that I’m nervous or anything.”
Max nodded slowly, looking between the two girls. “Who are your parents?” he asked Meg.
Ebony smiled at the girl, unsure of what to say. But at least this newcomer seemed less intense than the boy, Max.
“Um. They told me not to tell you that. Not you, specifically, but just in general,” Meg replied.
“But since we’re asking, who’re yours?”
Ebony didn't reply. She didn't really like talking to people, or giving information about herself, especially to strangers.
“My mum isn’t anyone special, unlike your parents,” Max said. It wasn’t a complete lie, but it wasn’t completely true.
Lucian heard a strange conversation going on a short distance away and listened in, it coming to him as loud as it would have been to someone standing right there next to the group. He attempted to be as discreet as possible, leaning against a wall and glancing at the group every so often.
“I feel like I’m being watched. Do you guys? I dunno. I really need to calm down. Jeez. Sorry,” Meg rambled.
(Should children from heros that were in groups know each other in advance. Such as Avenger's or Justice League's Children? Or no.)
Max looked around. “Yeah, I think someone’s watching us,” he said.
(May I join? Super big Marvel and DC fan.)

(Idk. Either one would be cool, but wouldn’t the ‘superheroes’ distance themselves from the others if they were to get married, etc.?)
(I guess if their parents were good friends…?)
