Kory sped up the hill, hacking through bushes and trees. He got to the top of the hill and sighed with relief. Then he turned to look back down the hill at a shape also moving up and grinned. "Beat you again!" He crowed.

Ani stared out the window, watching the rain fall. A drop splattered on to the glass, and she watched it separate and drip down slowly.
