"I could beat you in a race any day." She said, plopping down in a chair.
"I could beat you in a race any day." She said, plopping down in a chair.
"You got rocket boosters, it's not fair," he said.
"I'm sure I could beat you on foot, too." She stuck her tongue out.
"That," he said, returning the gesture, "I doubt."
"As soon as you're healed, we are so having a foot race." She decided, a determined glint in her eyes.
He raised his eyebrows. "I'll do it barefoot."
"I was gonna offer to wear my heels to give you an advantage." She quipped, tucking her hair behind her ear, the spider tattooed there becoming visible for a second.
He snorted. "Goodbye ankles, I guess."
"Dude, I spent my entire childhood practicing running and jumping over things in heels." She said, leaning back and crossing her arms over her chest. "I can sprint and do parkour in stilettos now."
"Still at a major disadvantage," he said with a grin.
"Just you wait. Idolizing Black Widow as a kid has it's advantages." Her grin mirrored his, paired with a small laugh.
"I mean, I had to run from my dad every day," he challenged.
"Dark, but point." She nodded. "You might have me there. Idolization or not, yeah."
He tuck his tongue out in triumph. "Hah."
She rolled her eyes, slouching in her seat. "I'm still going to win."
"Dooooooubt it," he said, smiling.
"Just you wait, Amity." She pointed at him, grinning.
He stuck his tongue out again. "Iron Girl."
"I can't go by Iron Girl my whole life, Klaus." She said with a huff. "At least Amity sounds like a hero name, not a sidekick name."
"Amity sounds like a fucking stripper," he grumbled, crossing his arms over his chest,
"And Iron Girl doesn't?" She paused. "Y'know, maybe I should skip the hero thing…"
"And do what?" he asked. "It's in your blood, same as me. Well, not hero, but you know what I mean."
"Become a stripper." She said as she looked up at him, face incredibly serious.
"You become a stripper, and I'mma start murdering people," he said, just as serious.
"Well, fuck, we can't have you doing that now. All my hard work on your merch would go to waste." She made a face. "I came up with the perfect stripper name though."
