"Thanks." She took the packet of salt and stared at it.
What do I do? Sprinkled it on my hand? Around me? Eat it?
None of them matter. In your moment of weakness, I will take control again.
I have control. Currently. Which means that I'm never losing control. Understand?

Gaia put a finger up. "I'm sure of it. I read it in a book once."

(this is where our group left off, we're about to run and Gaia is teelling
Ellen that Sethy-sloo cant be possessed because of lavender powers)

(Ah yes)
Ellen nodded, a bit confused. "Uh-huh. Okay."

"Well then." Seth took a deep breath. "I guess I'm lucky, but Mari is not, the demon is inside her, or something. It's really freaky."

"Okay, so what do we do?" Ellen asked, glancing around and expecting a possessed Mariko to jump out from anywhere at any second. The ceiling was kind of suspicious now that she thought about it.

"Do we run?" Gaia turned to Seth. "Is that why you're here?"

"I don't know. Ellis told me to come get you. I don't know if that means to bring you, but I don't want to take you over there," Seth said.

"This is why vagueness should be illegal," Gaia muttered.

YOU IDIOT. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!

An immediate gut-wrenching pain filled Mari as she crumpled to the floor, black mist pouring out of her mouth. Her eyes had rolled back, and she felt like she was choking.
Salt and demons are not fun things to ingest.

Ellis flinched as the black poured out of her. He knew how that felt.

She rolled to her side, the black mist fully out of her and closed her eyes, sweating and feeling like she was going to throw up. "Ellis," she croaked, reached a trembling hand out, "I need water."

Ellis grabbed a canteen off the counter and crouched beside her. "That was a lot of salt." He stated, which was one of the stupider things he could have said at the moment.

papyrus finally wakes up while grasping the back of his head "ok what the heck happened?"

"Yeah." Mariko took the canteen and unscrewed the top, sitting up and drinking the sweet, cold water that ran down her throat. Her braids had come undone, wet, messy strands of blue hair falling in front of her eyes as her wet bangs stuck to her forehead. "I look awful."

"You look fine. Besides, you just got attacked by a demon. That's enough to make anyone look like a soggy mess." Ellis patted her back.

"This is why vagueness should be illegal," Gaia muttered.

"It probably should be, but lets get going." Seth started down the hall, her pace quickening with every step.
