"Yeah, probably… My head's killing me. What were we going to do again? Sorry, I sometimes get disoriented when I pass out."
"Yeah, probably… My head's killing me. What were we going to do again? Sorry, I sometimes get disoriented when I pass out."
“We’re getting food,” Lillian responded, “Specifically for you Lloyd.”
"Oh… I suppose that's fair. I'm just gonna… you know…" Lloyd leaned against Lillian for support as they went into the cafe.
(I will join tomorrow!!!)
(Okay!!!!!)
Lillian kept Lloyd up as they entered the café and ordered at the counter. She got a coffee and a pastry, "What do you want?"
"Uh…" Lloyd glanced at the menu. "I'll just get a bagel and water or something."
The cashier put the order in and Lillian swiped to lay. She had to forge her mother's signature, but that was second nature at this point. She headed off with her coffee and pastry to an open table, "Come on. This spot has a decent view."
(I will join tomorrow!!!)
(Oh. Also if you have anyone you want to invite to join. Just tag'em, but only one.)
Lloyd followed Lillian and sat down, examining the water curiously before taking a sip. It was almost like he hadn't seen water in a long time. He shivered a bit when he swallowed it, the sensation strange against his dry throat. (You know, just an angel being suspiciously confused)
(Yep) Lillian watched him in a curious manner. There was a few options for his behavior, "When was the last time you drank water Lloyd?"
Lloyd shrugged. “It’s, uh… it’s been a while.” He took a bite of the bagel, but he still seemed not entirely sure what it was. He knew that bagels were round bread basically, but he’d never had one.
"You should be drinking and eating at the very least once a day," Lillian commented, "No wonder you passed out."
“Yeah, I guess…” Lloyd sipped his water again. It felt almost uncomfortable to drink it, honestly. It was foreign, and his body didn’t like it. Just keep quiet and accept the food. That’s all Lillian wants.
"You doing okay? I know it's weird to eat after you haven't had anything in a while," Lillian commented sipping on the coffee.
“Well, my body’s not too happy with me, but I’ll be fine.” Lloyd smiled weakly, his face still rather pale from when he passed out.
Lillian frowned slightly, "What do you mean not happy? It's just water and bread."
“I’m not used to eating, really, so it’s a little… uh, hard to swallow?” You mean it wants to come back up. Lloyd forced himself to swallow more of the bread, trying to look as casual as possible about it.
"You don't have to eat a lot," Lillian responded half tempted to take the bagel from him, "I just figured you should get something in you."
Lloyd nodded. “I-I understand… it’s really my fault for getting my body used to being unhealthy.” I feel a bit nauseous… is it hot in here? “I know you’re trying to help, and I’m sure it’ll help me get used to it in the long run.” (Lillian’s probably gonna start taking granola bars to practice or something to make Lloyd eat lol)
(If she can get the granola bars than yes.)
"I'm sure you will too," Lillian gave him a reassuring smile, "What do you normally eat?"
“Uh… I-I… I don’t typically eat…” Lloyd said quietly, avoiding eye contact. “I can never think straight when I do, and it weighs me down…” You can’t say that it makes it harder to fly. That would be incredibly suspicious. “It’s… it’s hard to remember when exactly I ate last, honestly…”
"What?" Lillian looked at him shocked. She couldn't put this together, "How are you not dead yet?"
“Well, people can survive a while without food. And I remember eating, just… uh, n-not exactly when.” And I’m an angel so I can survive a little longer without eating. Lloyd’s stomach growled angrily, and he crossed his arms over it, his face flushing a light pink. (He sort of low key has an eating disorder because he’s pretty much convinced himself that he doesn’t really need to eat. Feels bad, man)
(Ooof)
"That doesn't mean you should completely blow off eating," Lillian frowned quite a bit, "We're fixing that because you have a very bad habit."
Lloyd nodded and kept staring at the floor guiltily. "Y-Yeah… I know it's bad, but it's really hard to break habits…" You're probably gonna end up killing yourself on accident.
