"Woah," Lillian walked over and tried to help him, "Maybe you should sit back down?"

"Nah, m'fine… that just happens when I stand up." Lloyd closed his eyes for a few moments, waiting for the lightheadedness to go away.

"It shouldn't happen," Lillian responded, "I hope you realize that."

"Wait, your vision doesn't go black when you stand up?" Lloyd asked, confused.

"No!" Lillian exclaimed, "Well sometimes, but that's becuase I've been hurt or I'm malnourished. You're vision shouldn't change because you've stood up!"

"Oh… I-I thought that was normal…" Lloyd said softly, putting one hand against the wall for support.

"Now you know it's not," Lillian responded, "If you ate more this wouldn't happen."

Lloyd nodded. "Okay, I think I'm fine now… we should get to class." He started walking, almost falling several times. "Actually, I have a better idea…" He began making his way to the nurse's office.

Lillian followed after him staying close by, “This is a better idea.”

"Hi ma'am…" Lloyd waved to the nurse. "I'm probably gonna… p-pass… out…" He said in a slightly slurred voice before sitting down and falling unconscious.

Lillian let out a sigh and looked to the nurse, “Malnourished to an extreme.”

"Oh dear…" The nurse carefully moved Lloyd to the stretcher, which was quite easy since he was incredibly light. "Do you know how long it's been since he's eaten?"

“He just had a few bites of granola,” Lillian helpfully supplied, “Otherwise I have no idea.”

"Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to help him with what I have here…" The nurse said sadly. "We might have to take him to the hospital."

Lillian sighed again, “Well then we’ll have to do that.”

"If he's trying to force himself not to eat for some reason, he might need counseling or thy therapy as well. Although, he seemed to have come here willingly, so I can't be sure." She ran her hand gently along his side. "He's definitely just skin and bone…"

“He doesn’t have great access to food,” Lillian started letting the lie slip off her tongue, “His parents are fairly poor, but Lloyd doesn’t want to ‘take’ resources from others. So he probably doesn’t eat much.”

"He knows we can give out free breakfasts and lunches to kids with financial troubles, right?" The nurse looked down at Lloyd worriedly.

“Not until today,” Lillian sighed, “Even then he didn’t want to ‘take food from kids who need it.’”

"I think if anyone needs it, it's him. I've never seen someone so thin who still kept wanting to come to school. The kid's starving himself." The nurse glanced over at her phone. "It might be best to have him taken to a hospital. This is very dangerous for him."

“Okay,” Lillian nodded figuring the nurse knew best.

"You stay with him. I'll be right back." She went and picked up her phone, dialing 911. After a minute or two of explaining the situation, she returned. "They'll be here in a few minutes."

Lillian nodded and looked to Lloyd, “Okay.”

Lloyd came to and slowly opened his eyes, looking up at Lillian. "…W-What happened?"

“You passed out Lloyd,” Lillian told him gently.
