@Fraust
Lloyd nodded. "Hey, what can you do? I don't even know what all I'll have to do. I've never seen West Side Story."
Lloyd nodded. "Hey, what can you do? I don't even know what all I'll have to do. I've never seen West Side Story."
Laura pressed her lips together. Go over there! No! They'll ask!
"You'll have to sing, dance, and act," Lillian responded quickly, "That's around the same skill set I have at least."
Cassie pulled her legs up onto the stage to stand, her eyes leaving the spot to trail slowly along, eventually stopping on Laura. She approached the other girl, plopping down near her and staying quiet, watching Lillian.
Laura stiffened when Cassie got close. She took on Rachel and won. Did she win? I'm nothing like Rachel! She's going to get anything she wants from me… She bit her lip at how weak she was.
"You ever had apple pie from that diner down on Third?" Cassie asked suddenly, her expression never once changing.
The question startled her. This was… different. "Uh, n-no."
"You should grab some if you ever get the chance." She recommended. "Best pie I've had."
Laura nodded slowly. "Okay…"
"You'll have to sing, dance, and act," Lillian responded quickly, "That's around the same skill set I have at least."
"Alright… What does Tony do in particular that I should know about?"
"If I remember right, he's a character with a lot of muscle mass since he's in a gang," Lillian said in thought, "I don't think he has any fight scenes, but he might."
"Oh… is the whole 'buff' thing a necessity? If so, I might have to exercise a little more…" Lloyd glanced down at his own thin arms.
"There's probably some work around," Lillian gave him a smile, "But you might want to do that just because it takes a lot of energy to do."
"Alright. I'll probably try to do some stuff on my own time, if I'm not too busy, that is."
"Doesn't sound like a bad plan," Lillian took another glance at the clock. She looked over to Cassie, "Hey. Got any part you want specifically?"
"Nope." Cassie said, meeting Lillian's eyes with her own peculiar grey ones. "I'm here for whatever's needed."
Laura flinched when Lillian called in their direction, but she blushed stupidly when she realized she was talking to Cassie.
“Cool,” Lillian gave her a thumbs up, “We’ll probably need to know how well you sing and can memorize lines, but that should be about it.”
"Eidetic memory." Cassie said simply, tapping the side of her head. "That's no problem. As for singing, 's up t' you when and where for whatever."
“Nice,” Lillian gestured to around where she was standing, “As for singing how about right here right now.”
Cassie's eyebrow quirked just slightly, the studs glinting in the light as she stood. "I've never seen West Side Story. Don' know any o' the music."
“You can sing anything,” Lillian responded gesturing for Cassie to come on to the stage, “So get up here.”
Laura listened shyly. She didn't know why she was here… She only had to do sets. But yet here she was.
Cassie shrugged a shoulder, climbing up onto the stage. She paused, cycling through songs in her head for a moment.
