Darren tried to sit up but immediately went back down and pressed a hand to his forehead.
Darren tried to sit up but immediately went back down and pressed a hand to his forehead.
"You sure?" Lillian asked him.
"No" Darren groaned
"Great," Lillian looked at him, "Did your head get hurt again?"
Darren looked over to see Alek uncontious next to him. "God! I d-d-didn't kill him did I?"
(unconscious*)
"Great," Lillian looked at him, "Did your head get hurt again?"
"mhmm" Darren nodded with a hand on his forehead where the rock had hit him previously.
Lillian quickly went over and checked his pulse. It was still there and steady, "No you didn't."
"Dang!" Darren sat up and scooted over to lean against a nearby booth. He closed his eyes again.
Lillian walked back over she looked at him and put her hand on his forehead applying a small amount of pressure, "Did anywhere else get hurt?"
"My hand did before" Darren picked up his hand and moved his fingers around. "It's fine now I guess" Darren grumbled at the pain of his head now twice injured by Alek.
Luena released a sigh of relief, happy to see her [friends? no. acquaintances? yeah.] acquaintances were alright. She called her spirit back into herself, and stepped out of the oblivion. She decided to make her way home.
"Is Jerk alive?" Lloyd's voice was a bit muffled, considering he was still laying his head on the table. The table was cool, and his head hurt slightly less when it was against it.
"Unfortunately" Darren grumbled back to Lloyd
"Yep," Lillian wrapped some gauze around Darren's head. When she was done she glared at him, "Don't do anything stupid like that again."
"Ugh… I wish I was dead… did Jerk have an ax or something that he cleaved through my head or just those stupid spiky shoes of his?"
"Yep," Lillian wrapped some gauze around Darren's head. When she was done she glared at him, "Don't do anything stupid like that again."
"Just trying to help my friends. He could have killed Lloyd and felt nothing."
"Then you let me handle it," Lillian sat back, "I might look weak, but I have a trombone and I'm not afraid to use it against jerks like him."
"Come on be real Lillian, he would've done the same to you as he did to Lloyd, I can take him. It's my prerogative as a football player.
Lloyd just muttered something indistinguishable, keeping his head on the table. He was still bleeding and in quite a bit of pain.
Darren stood. "No offence to either of you but I was standing up for you guys."
Lillian pulled her knees to her chest, "But your injured. You don't go and fight people if you know you're injured. That's just a rule."
"And apparently you don't go and fight people if you weigh fifty pounds either…" Lloyd lifted his head from the table and laid it on his arms.
"That's also common sense," Lillian realized something, "Wait your only fifty pounds Lloyd?"
"Okay we need to set some ground rules then" Darren sat down next to Lloyd.
