Lillian laughed and snuggled up to him, "Okay. Because we're cuddling."
Lillian laughed and snuggled up to him, "Okay. Because we're cuddling."
Darren placed a kiss on Lillian's head, the thought and possibility of being sick still looming in his head.
Lillian smiled, Darren was warm.
Darren had woken up with a headache that he was trying desperately to ignore, but now it felt like it was ripping his head apart.
Lillian looked up at Darren. Her eyes filled with concern, "Are you one hundred percent positive you aren't si-"
She got caught off by the bile rising in her throat. It seems her illness decided now would be the best time to get worse. She moved quickly away from Darren and rushed to find a bathroom.
Darren sat up quickly unsure if he should go after her or not. He decided to wait until he heard something.
Lillian made it just in time as she vomited into the toilet. She hated the sound of gagging, and felt as a tear slipped down her face.
Darren pulled his knees to his chest as he leaned against the headboard of his bed. He tried to keep his breathing slow and not to panic at the sound of Lillian throwing up. What kind of boyfriend doesn't go and help?
Lillian flushed the toilet and tried to even out her breathing. In her hurry she didn't close the door so Darren didn't have to hear her. She wiped away the tears and sat there rocking gently back and forth.
There was sweat collecting on Darren's forehead but his breathing had evened out. He stood an walked slowly to the bathroom, convincing himself that it was going to be okay with every step until he reached the bathroom and saw Lillian. He sat down by her and rubbed her back, "Y-you" He swallowed, "Okay?" His was hyperaware of his breathing.
Lillian nodded, "I-I'm sorry about this."
"It's n-not your fault." He said pressing his palm to his head. His headache was only getting worse and his normally tan face was white pale.
Lillian looked at him. Her face an ashen color, "Are you sure you're not sick? You don't look to good."
(I have a strange plan for Darren… It's gonna get sad fast.)
(Oh no…. Do it.)
"Yeah, I'm fine." He said slowly as if it was a struggle to get the words out. "It's just the nerves I think."
He swallowed hard, his head was pounding with pain and sweat was now dripping off of his sickly pale face.
Lillian fought off the bile in her throat, "You're not fine. It's not nerves. If you don't tell me what's wrong, I'm calling an ambulance."
"I don't need an ambula–" His words trailed off. He stood up walking slowly to the door, his vision becoming blurry. Suddenly he fell to the ground and began to shake, his movements were out of his control and his arm was bent strangely. He looked at the cieling but his vision was fading. Was this a-a seizure?
Lillian quickly stood up, "Darren!"
She grabbed the nearest phone and dialed for an ambulance, "Hello? Yeah it's an emergency. My boyfriend seems to be having a seizure. YES I NEED AN AMBULANCE!"
Darren heard the panic in Lillian's voice but it sounded distant and echoey. He tried to say he was okay, but the words wouldn't come out. In fact, his body wasn't cooperating with him at all.
Lillian stayed on the phone as she ran back to Darren. She didn't know what to do. Her only option was to wait.
Darren continued to shake on the floor, the convulsions had gotten worse and he couldn't see anything.
She watched as the EMS ran in and up to Darren. They kept telling her to stay there, but she wasn't having any of it, "Where he goes I go."
Darren felt the EMS team hold him down in an effort to stop the convulsions. Where's Lillian? He tried to say but again, nothing.
