(I was thinking Supernatural but meh.)
"This is not Dr. Anderson's field of expertise. This is a testing best left to our scientists." Just the word made her freeze up. The days spent in the SAS headquarters being poked and prodded like a doll with her too dizzy and drugged to do anything about it flashed through her head.
“Actually a neuroscientist is exactly someone I would want picking my wife’s brain. Thanks. If he isn’t leading the study then I think you’ll find us going home,”
She smiled a little at 'wife'. She was barely used to being a fiancee, being called someone's wife was a huge step. The doctor sighed slightly. "If he does, we will have to ask you to leave. Can't have any distractions or procedures leaking to the public." "No." Belle answered forcefully. "But ma'am-" "Absolutely not. If you want me, you get him too."
Ryan nodded, “I think we’ll be going now. Thanks for the help,”
His jaw tightened. "Sir, I must ask you to step away from the patient." She froze up. "It's nothing against you or your relationship, but it is 4:00. Visiting hours are over and even without the experiments, we must keep her overnight to make sure she doesn't have any permanent brain damage."
“Visiting only applies to non family members, she’s my wife, you can’t ask me to leave,”
"The engagement ring she's wearing tells a different story. Sir, I will call security if I have to." "Please don't make him leave." Her voice was trembling and scared. "Ma'am I have to. I don't have a choice." He looked over her again, a slight smirk pulling at the corner of his mouth.
“She wears her engagement ring for now until we can pick out wedding bands but we’re married. I’d find it hard to forget that,” he took a step closer. “I’m checking her out of the hospital and we’re going home,”
"Sir I won't ask again, you must go." She was close to tears. She was terrified of what he'd do, both to her and to him if he didn't listen. She gripped his hand tightly. "Please don't leave me." Her voice was shaking and near inaudible.
“I won’t,” he kissed her forehead, “And I won’t tell you again. We’re leaving,”
"According to her records, she's 18. She's able to handle herself." "Considering she just tried to commit suicide, is that really so?" The nurse muttered. "Quiet Nina." He snapped harshly. She cringed and hurried out of the room. "Security!" He called. Three guards rushed into the room. "I have asked this man to leave multiple times and he refuses to." "Sir please, listen to the doctor, he knows what's best for the patient." "No! Please, don't take him from me!" Belle cried, silent tears falling down her cheeks.
Cooper appeared in the doorway, “the man said he’s not leaving and the lady said he stays, where’s your respect?”
"My respect is in what is best for the patient's health. The personal lives of each patient should not interfere." He responded coolly, almost mechanical. The guards stepped closer. "Sir, we will only ask one more time before we remove you from the premises ourselves. Step away from the patient."
He and Cooper exchanged a look, both their eyes turned a deep red. “Have it your way then.”
The guards looked at each other before marching forward, intending to grab him. Belle caved in on herself, scooting back to rest against the wall, grabbing her pillow as a makeshift stress ball. She didn't want to see him hurt but it didn't look like he was giving them much of a choice.
(I live mofos, also I don't like the 'Doctor'.)
(Neither do I but he's an archangel, he's not supposed to be liked.)
(Lovely, absolutely lovely.)
The boys dropped one guard at a time, not killing them but knocking them out. They eyed the doctor. “Can we please go home now?”
Lillian was looking down at him with a grin and blush, "Um yeah."
“Are you now? That’s interesting,”
"Oh be quiet," Lillian shut him up with a kiss.
“Make me why don’t you?” He mumbled against her lips.
He didn't look happy but he also didn't look surprised. "Listen, I don't know who you are and frankly, I don't care. But I am keeping her here. She's dangerous and needs to be taken down a few notches. Think about it. A nice, quiet, respectful little wife who listens to whatever you say. Wouldn't that be nice?"
“Maybe for you but I like my sassy, independent, rebel. Thanks for the offer but I think you can leave now,”
Shaxx stood just behind the man, a giant towering over him.
Lillian chuckled in her throat as she murmured back, "What do you think I'm doing?"
