Lillian wasn't making drastic movements, just shaking. Her face was scrunched up, and sweat beads dropped down. Why did he have to show up there? She wasn't supposed to get in the way at that moment, sghe needed to be their for Darren. Not the other way around.

He wiped her forehead with the soft blanket and made sure she was covered up well enough before wrapping himself closer. "It's okay," he reassured quietly.
