"It's my job to, sugar. You know that."
"It's my job to, sugar. You know that."
(What plans?!)
Lillian gave a smile back. She was genuinely happy at the moment, and it felt strange.
:) Some plans my doood :)
Darren walked over and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her into a hug. Their cheeks pushed together, he was always warm and the feeling of cold skin was a relief.
"It's my job to, sugar. You know that."
"I know," He smiled a little, "I just don't think it's possible for my ADD to be your fault."
"Hey, you never know." A slight smile tugged at her lips.

He smiled. "Are you teasing me now?"
"And so what if I was? What are you gonna do about it?"
(Y u no tell me?)
Lillian made no struggle against him melting into his heat. She let out a soft breath that fluttered against his skin.
"I don't know, I think I'd feel like this is an abuse relationship but I'm too invested to leave,"

:)
He closed his eyes blissfully, he could never understand how the cold bothered people when he loved it so much.
"Oh no, an abusive relationship? Call the police on that wretched woman then!" She cried overdramatically.

"I can't, she's really pretty and very seductive,"
Lillian despised the cold. It chilled her to the bone and reminded her of those episodes she had.

He was warm enough to heat her up and she was cold enough to chill him slightly, it was perfect right now.
(Alright, mom's yelling which means it's time for bed! LAST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR THE WEEK FOR ME BECAUSE OF TEACHER'S CONVENTION HELL YEAH.)
"So some looks and smooth words have you captured by her? How concerning." She shook her head.
(I WISH I COULD HAVE THAT BUT GOODNIGHT DEAR, see you tomorrow)

"What can I say, I'm weak and she's ridiculously persuasive,"
(GOODNIGHT! I DIDN'T HAVE SCHOOL TODAY BUT I HAVE IT TOMORROW AND UGH!)

Lillian wrapped her arms around Darren realizing she hadn't done so earlier. This was perfect at the moment.
"We aren't getting anything accomplished…" he whispered but made no effort to move.
Lillian made no effort to move either as she murmured, "And that's bad somehow?"
"It's not bad," his knees felt weak but he refused to let it get to him. He wasn't on chemo and he was convinced the cancer was gone so his weakness was a matter of strength and he needed to convince himself that he was strong.
Lillian was willing to hold him if he needed it. She was expecting him to be as strong as he used out be. He was still in recovery mode, "Good. I don't think it's bad either."
He leaned into her, hoping it was subtle. "As long as we don't leave frosty naked,"
Lillian laughed slightly noticing the subtle shift of weight, "Of course. That would be cruel."
"Of course, we could always give him our clothes," Darren sighed and laid his head on Lillian's shoulder.
