Lillian snickered, “Sure you aren’t. Now I assume you two have to be somewhere?”

"Yeah no kidding." She shook her head. "How old are you, Austin?" Ahhh, little kids. This is my comfort zone.

"21. At least, so I've been told." She glanced at him pointedly.

“I’m 34 with two kids and a cat,” he joked… “Kidding, I’m 22 now,”

The bird flew from his shoulder as he knelt down for Lillian to get on his back.

Lillian climbed on the demons back. It felt strange, but nice? Weird.

He turned his head to look at her and smiled as kindly as he could. He hated it when humans touched him but she was okay.

Lillian gave him a small smile back. She wondered if he was really okay with this, or was he just being nice.

Balthazar and Darren were the same person, Bal loved her the same way Darren did. He walked slowly toward Phenex.

Lillian held on tight as he moved. She was really high up, wow.

"Darren told me to ask you if the air is thinner up here… I think it's supposed to be a short joke but the human isn't very funny,"
