“…here,” he sat up just enough to We’re he could get his arms around her and pick her up. He stood and walked upstairs with her in arms, gently laying her on the bed when they got there. “That’s probably better than laying on me.”

"But you're warm…I'm freezing…" She shivered. She didn't know why her thoughts scattered to the winds always made her cold but it pretty much always did.

Ryan laughed and laid beside her, “Then come here, I have body heat and blankets just for you,”

She smiled and gladly cuddled into his side. "Mmm, much better."

He made sure to pull all the blankets up over them and to her led her close, “I love you,”

"I love you too." She smiled, laying her cheek on his chest, listening to his heartbeat.

He looked down at her and couldn’t help but smile, this would be his wife someday soon and she couldn’t wait.
