"You're literally talking to a detective, an actual detective who is used to interrogating people and hearing reasoning, and you ask me that question. God forbid I have to try and break a habit for one person and then ruin myself when it comes to any cases." A small smile tugged at her lips, she didn't mind the arguing.

He held back his own smile, “Oh yeah! God forbid you change for me, you might somehow be a bad detective as if I affect that,”

"Well being able to interrogate based on answers is the most important part of the job, sugar, I have to be able to do it well. So yes, I would be a bad detective."

“Fight me!” He huffed jokingly. “You’re never bad at anything you think you are,”
