Darren made a deal with Lillian's mom to get her to quit Drama in exchange for her not being beat. The mother lied ofc. Darren has to choose between football and musical.)

Paige noticed her phone buzz and reached towards it. She turned on the lock screen to see a messaging notification. Her heart beat faster, but when she unlocked the phone, it was only Stormy. Hey how goes?
Terrible! Paige sent back.
