Darren's eyes grew wide, "I'm hungry,"

Lillian smiled at him, "Great! What should we eat then?"

“You’re far to excited about me being hungry,”

“I’m just really happy you’re hungry, okay?”

He laughed a little, why wouldn’t she be happy? Of course she was, when was the last time he said he was hungry? “I don’t care what we eat. Just… food,”

“So we can order pizza or chinese or something?”

“Chinese?! Yay!”

Lillian laughed with a beam, "Okay, I'll go order some then."

“Oh yum,” Darren buried his face in a pillow.

She wondered about her boyfriend sometimes, but she went and ordered Chinese.

“You can’t be—,” Cooper stopped. No no, she wasn’t mad as he thought she was, but he was the one that was mad. He hadn’t even realized it until she said that but his fists were heavy and his words were harsh so he took a breath to clear his head and tried a calmer approach, “You can’t worry about my feelings for Belle,”

"I'm sorry," she replied quietly.

“No I’m sorry. You weren’t mad,” he shook his head. He knew rage was one of the symptoms but he hadn’t expected it this way. “I love belle and it’s not my fault. I can’t change that she’s all I think of, that’s just how these things work,”

She nodded. "Je comprends. I understand."
