While Oakley did her dishes from the day and swept her floors, trying to occupy herself with procrastination of AP homework, her thoughts were dominated by the tall shifter boy. She wondered where he had gone, and just how much he had to have endured to react like that to company. As much as she hated it, she knew he was dangerous. But she didn't want to be just another person claiming he was a monster.
excuse me I'm not Oakley lol that's another rp lol I'm eugene in this one
Orion went into the cave, immediately cleaning the animal blood from his skin. He changed, and went back outside, burning the stained clothes to ash. He went back inside and to his kitchen, taking a bottle of a metal smelling dark liquid and sipping it just as casually as someone would do with water. He thought back to the girl that he had met, then to the boy he saw glaring at him. Now, he laughed and shook his head.
After I'm satisfied with the cleanliness of my house, I wander off to my bedroom at the top of stairs and get started on my homework. I glance at the clock, reading eleven forty-two, and sigh. It was going to be a long night. When I'm about halfway done with a three-page essay for AP Composition, I take a shower and wash the day off myself and brew a cup of caffeinated tea while I'm in.
Orion sipped the drink and walked into his bedroom, laying down on the cot. He stretched his legs out and turned the radio on the nightstand on.

Will elaborate more later)
Lloyd left the cafe at closing time, putting the textbook in his bag along with several others. He heaved the bag onto his back, stumbling a bit as he did so. It probably weighed at least half as much as he did, so carrying it was no simple task. The strap of the bag secured itself between his wings, which was uncomfortable but difficult for him to change, so he just let it be.
(Oh, and Joan’s selkie coat [when she’s wearing it] transforms into wings in land and then a seal coat on water)
"Okay, you paper bastard. I cast a curse upon thy, and thine children, and their children." I mutter at my paper, after my lead broke for the millionth time and my wet hair was dripping on the page. "Damn you, and damn the horse you rode in on AP Composition."
With that, I roll over and stand, turning off my lamp to finish in the morning, and climb into bed.
*THE NEXT DAY *
Lloyd walked to school, as he always did, with his heavy bag on his back. He sometimes wished that he could just go to a normal school, but he knew that this was for the best. It protected people who were different, who would be shunned in ordinary society. Sanctuary High could teach them how to act in everyday settings.
Myra Henson
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Lesbian
Looks: Green eyes, purple hair, sandy skin tone.
Persona: Bubbly, flirty, sweet
Species: Half witch half vampire
Bio: Was hunted down, parents died, hates herself, has epilepsy (seizure prone)
(BTW, parents are alive, in reality, but captured.)
Myra was at school before anyone else, she preffered early starts.
Joan walked self-consciously into the school yard, fluffy white wings trailing behind her. A breeze caught their undersides, but she quickly pressed them to her body. She hated flying. Tucking a strand of mahogany hair behind her ear, she held her head high, gold rose earrings glinting in the sunlight.
Lloyd was still wearing a hoodie that concealed his wings. He pulled out a textbook to read as he walked, glancing up frequently to make sure he was going the right direction.
I shrugged on an emerald green knit sweater and leggings, then put on a pair of uggs and tied my long hair up. I didn't bother with makeup- I liked my freckles and my angel side prevented most teenage fears like acne and dark circles, thank gods- and then I brushed my teeth and left the house without breakfast. I usually bought fruit of some sort and coffee at the farmer's market on the way to school.
Since Lloyd had arrived early, he went to the library to continue reading. It appeared to be vacant for the time being, and he found an empty table to set his books on while he breezed through the science textbook as he had several times before.
"Oh, hello!" Myra said to Lloyd, hanging from the ceiling.
Joan scaled the side of the school building, pulling herself up in a very low section of the room, swinging her legs idly. She fiddled with the golden key hanging from her neck, smiling somewhat sadly as she pulled a chocolate bar from her pocket, munching on it.
I paid for my banana and coffee and arrived on the massive campus just in time for the first bell to ring, as per usual. Jupiter didn't like mornings and made his first period a bye on purpose, so I got there punctually enough every morning that I didn't have to sit around awkwardly before the bells rang. The campus was loading with milling students, and I immediately walked towards the Angel wing, where I'd been placed.
