(Yes, lets start when we get to the island (Gathering) and somehow find each other and then somehow get on the topic of running away!)
Kk
(Sure)
The moon was at its peak when Jaypaw and his clan arrived at the island, the air was cold and breezy and with the help of the lake it felt even colder.
"You want to go fist?" Jaypaw asked, glancing at Willowpaw then to the log bridge.
"Sure." Willowpaw stepped onto the log and made her way to the island swiftly and quietly. She wasn't too worried about falling in, as she knew that she could swim to the island if necessary.
Looking at the log then at the water, Jaypaw took his time but his mentor did not care and ended up picking him up by the scruff and caring him across.
Willowpaw watched Jaypaw being carried like a kit with a small smirk on her face. She had already reached the other side, and seeing an almost fully grown cat being carried was amusing. (Common misconception, a lot of people think apprentices look like kits in comparison to their mentors. In reality, six month old cats are almost full grown. Still not quite as large as an adult, but almost there.)
(Yeah, I watched a video about that but I don't really care, Stalepelt is a big tom anyway and Jaypaw is a runt so he is small then normal)
"What are you looking at." Jaypaw muttered, glaring at the evilly smirking Willowpaw.
(Yeah, all my characters are smaller than average. Like, Finchsong fully grown is only half to three quarters of the size of any other cat)
"Nothing." She turned and walked away, flicking his face with her tail.
"Your tails fat." He remarked, hoping that would annoy her.
"It's fluffy. Jealous?" She laughed and hopped away to where other cats were gathered.
"Huh, my tail is fluffier." He teased back. "Unlike Fernshadows tail!"
"Fernshadow looks like she's got a little snake for a tail." Willowpaw giggled.
"No! She just got it wet while she crossed the bridge!" And it was indeed wet when he looked over to the gray she-cat.
"True, but it's pretty thin anyways." She shrugged, stretching a bit. "So, first gathering! Exciting, huh? Especially since it'll be our last." Her voice dropped to a barely audible whisper.
"Wait, you want to go now?" he whispered back, following her to the waters edge, "But we only leaned how to hunt today! and that was the basics, how will we survive out there?" He glanced out over the open waters to the Thunderclan and Windclan borders.
"I've been watching the other apprentices. I've planned for moons. And, if any of the others join us, we've got strength in numbers as well. Anything's better than being an outcast in the midst of my own clan."
"And how will others join us? And how will we get everyone out without being spotted?"
"We leave when the gathering is over and slip out the side in the midst of all the chaos. As for the others joining, listen in to conversations. Surely there will be others wanting to leave."
"ok.." he sighed, "Lets bring in a few other apprentices and see if they want to follow us! But we cant ask then too straight forward, got that?" He asked as he began walking to the groups of cats.
"Agreed." Willowpaw walked around, staying mostly hidden. She overheard snippets of conversation, and a couple cats just thinking aloud to themselves. (Cloverpaw?)
