"If we can't figure out how that happened, then we need to be on the lookout."
"If we can't figure out how that happened, then we need to be on the lookout."
(and Baal's wandering around outside)
"Ugh, cigarettes w-would be lovely," Vien mumbled, finishing his brownie before reaching for a glass of milk. He took a few sips of it before reaching for a slice of cheesecake
"Yeah, it's literally the only thing I spend my money on," Beau answered, grabbing a cookie as he took a small bite from it, fantasizing the idea of having his pack of cigarettes and lighter with him. His brother and sister had been trying to get him to quit, but smoking had always helped him with anxiety and stress.
"If only I had money anymore," Vien mused. For all his expensive-looking clothes and talk, he was really poor as dirt. He relied directly on his employer for things like food and clothing. Other than that, he got little to no money to spend on things he wanted
"6034.." she whispered in her sleep.
Cammie noticed Vivian mumbled in her sleep. "6034." She said it over and over again. In concern, Cammie shook Vivian. "Wake up."
Vivian gasped and shot up. She rubbed her eyes and looked at Cammie. "Is your friend here yet?" She decided not to talk about the dream. Too much painful memories as she remembered the cold water, the screaming, the feeling of being trapped…
She shivered unconsciously.
Cammie gently wrapped the blanket around her. "Yeah, shes in the bathroom freshening up, she'll come out….soon." She replied. "Take a deep breath, ok kid. Now do you want to watch a movie or something to take your mind off it?" Cammie asked.
(Oy, I'm gonna cut in and say there's no movies being made. Also, any media devices wold be old and untrustworthy.)
"That'd be nice," she whispered. She appreciated that Cammie wasn't forcing her to say something. Of course, she would tell… she just needed some time.
(Isn't this the future?)
(Yeah. A future filled with scary monsters and people with weird abilities and – did I mention WW3 happened?)
Cammie gave her a small smile. "I'm with you until the end of the line, remember that." Cammie encouraged and gave her a salute before checking on the popcorm.
(Yeah. A future filled with scary monsters and people with weird abilities and – did I mention WW3 happened?)
(But its the future!)
She smiled to herself and hugged the blankets closer. Soon, she promised herself. I'll tell her soon.
(Yeah. A future filled with scary monsters and people with weird abilities and – did I mention WW3 happened?)
(But its the future!)
(A horrible future that is the aftermath of a War.
I mean, I don't want to be terribly strict, and I really don't want to fight, but some of the stuff we have now would not be in production due to the war.)
(Oh….so what do we have for technology?)
"There is technology. Just, kinda rusted, broken-down tech. Half of it, anyway. ;)"
(From my Universe for this)
(But what if you can fix it and make it work again?)
(That depends on what materials are on hand. But think; this world is still trying to pick up the pieces after a war that resulted in magical powers revealing themselves, creatures becoming monsters, and some humans getting so sick they're like lepers.)
(But still, what if you're able to fix some machines and they work?)
(I would say yes, but it also depends on what the machine is.)
( A computer, tv, dvd player.)
(Those would need power, and the tv and dvd player would need a cord to transfer the picture or something (I had to ask my brother X). Power and a cord. Two very important things, but something could also go wrong in a different spot.)

(All I need to know was if they could work…)
(Oy. sighs
Yes, if you can fix them and you have what they need to work.)
