Evie's eyes widened. Someone else had her powers? She knew that she shouldn't be surprised, but she was. Her head whipped back around. "You have telekinesis?"

"Weapons room?" Beau muttered to himself once Moraphe closed the door, furrowing his brow faintly in thought. After a few moments, he dismissed it and walked back towards Vien, hoping that he was still alright. He kneeled down by Vien, letting the silence hang between the two as he thought of what to say.
"Vien, I can make the dreams stop if you want me to," Beau mumbled, speaking up after a pause as he looked towards his roommate. It would take a lot of his energy up and there would be a few side effects to himself, but if it could help Vien, then he would do it. Why are you so protective of him now? A small chorus of whispers asked, but Beau dismissed them, knowing that even he didn't have an answer to that.
Vien shook his head, getting to his feet shakily as he took a deep breath. "I don't want them to go away," he mumbled softly. "Because if they go away, m-my family might go away," he said, his voice growing quieter at the mention of his family. He had considered going to a psychic or something to remove the memories, but he knew he could never do something like that. He couldn't just forget what had been done to them
"It wouldn't be like forgetting them. The memories would stay, but the dreams would stop," Beau mumbled softly as he looked up towards Vien, nodding his head in understanding. He had once had dreams like Vien, but after a while, he had figured out how to get rid of them but was a bit scared of the memories disappearing. Though, they had stayed no matter what. "If you don't want to, it's alright." Beau added softly, trying for a faint smile to reassure Vien.
(That is so sweet XD )
"I'm okay," Vien assured him. Besides, he wasn't sure if his boss would be too happy if he let someone tamper with his mind. His contract didn't keep him from doing much, but letting his mind be willingly tampered with tended to be one. He ran a hand through his messy hair, trying to get it to look less like he had just woken up from a bad dream
Beau nodded and began to step towards the door, opening it slowly as he glanced over his shoulder towards Vien. A small yawn escaped his lips as he blew a few strands of his white hair from his face, only now realizing how tired he really was. A few voices could be heard from downstairs as he began to make his way down the staircase, wondering if he would have to talk to any of them. Beau had never been quite good at starting conversations with strangers, but jokes usually got him somewhere with them.
Vien followed behind Beau warily, hands in his pockets as his face settled into its usual scowl. He padded down the stairs silently after Beau, eyes flicking from one spot to the next. He didn't really want to be around others, but he supposed he had to
"I can do the talking if you don't want to," Beau mumbled, finally speaking up over the silence as he glanced over at Vien. He looked back towards the floor as he continued to walk across the old wood of the house, waiting for Vien's answer.
Having finished her cheesecake, Vivian threw the plate in the trash.
"That'd be n-nice," Vien mumbled, fixing his gaze on the wooden floor beneath him as he walked. He didn't really want to be out here, but he was starting to get hungry again
Beau nodded, glancing up as they reached the main room, where a few people were already sitting and eating. Running a hand through his hair in order to fix it, he made his way towards one of the tables, looking to his side to see if Vien had followed. As he sat down, Beau let his gaze wander, already beginning to study a few of the other kids in the dining room.
Evie's eyes widened. Someone else had her powers? She knew that she shouldn't be surprised, but she was. Her head whipped back around. "You have telekinesis?"
“Y-yeah and Flora, but flora is terry mich useless.” She blushed
She glanced at the two boys who had walked in, though didn't comment. They didn't seem up for talk anyway.
Vien sat down next to Beau, his eyes widening at the sight of all the food. He reached for a plate, already beginning to hoard cookies and pastries. He cut into a cheesecake happily, trying and failing to not eat it all at once
Beau glanced over at Vien, trying to stifle a laugh as he noticed how happy they were to be around all the different cakes. It was adorable anyway. He looked towards the blonde girl near them, studying her for a few moments before he glanced back towards the food and grabbed a cookie. "Someone's a bit hungry," Beau teased, a faint smile on his lips as he watched Vien.
Vien shot Beau a look, still shoveling cake into his mouth. "I thought you were supposed to be nice to me," he pouted around his mouthful of cake, finishing it before moving on to his hoard of assorted cookies
She moved on, sitting at her chair again and attempted a nap.
Vien shot Beau a look, still shoveling cake into his mouth. "I thought you were supposed to be nice to me," he pouted around his mouthful of cake, finishing it before moving on to his hoard of assorted cookies
"I am nice to you," Beau countered, chuckling lightly as he saw Vien pout a bit. He took a few bites of his own cookies, continuing to watch the boy in an amused way.
Vien shrugged his shoulders in a sort of agreeing gesture before returning to his cookies. He reached for a glass of milk across the table, taking it and dunking a few cookies in the glass as he ate them
Beau took a few more bites from his cookie as his gaze wandered around the room, looking at the detailed paintings hanging on the walls and the chandeliers. Everything here seemed so much more preserved and nicer than his home and even the rest of the world. "How do you think they got all of these decorations?" Beau asked, finally speaking up as he glanced back towards Vien.
"Stealing. Magic. Magic s-stealing," Vien rambled on with a shrug. He finished with his cookies, downing some of his glass of milk before reaching for what looked like a tiramisu cake
Having successfully fallen asleep, she snored, yet miraculously did not drool on the table.

“Y-yeah and Flora, but flora is terry mich useless.” She blushed
Evie surveyed the girl. "I'm Evie," she said at last. No one here would find out her full name. Over her dead body.
