Lea pulled out her card, tapped it, and tucked it back into her pocket. "All good?"
Lea pulled out her card, tapped it, and tucked it back into her pocket. "All good?"
(idk
i know it's not up to me, but i personally would say no
but its not up to me, since its not mine)
"Yep, all good." Flynn then turned to call out the back. "Jessie! You done yet?"
Jessie poked her head around the corner. "Almost! Calm down, I ain't the Flash."
(Hey again Ruby! I'm really sorry but this specific rp works best as a one on one. We can totally make a separate thread and start a fresh one if you want to though?)
(hey amber aha! it's all good, i was just wondering, just got this account so i was looking around. no biggie!)
Lea froze. Jessie. Her stare landed where Jessie had just shown her face, face paling significantly. Jessie? she thought again. Too weird. No way. She didn't move an inch, studying the spot she hadn't looked away from.

(I totally don't mind starting a new one if you want to)

(m'kay well hmu if you change your mind :)
(ofc i will!)
Lea froze. Jessie. Her stare landed where Jessie had just shown her face, face paling significantly. Jessie? she thought again. Too weird. No way. She didn't move an inch, studying the spot she hadn't looked away from.
"Well come on, be quicker!" Flynn said. "I want you to take me to see Mei. I don't have her number, so I can never contact her."
"All right, I guess. Give me a few minutes."
Lea blinked, taking a step back. "Christ, this is strange," she muttered to herself without taking her eyes off the spot.
Jessie then disappeared back in the back, and Flynn wrapped the bouquet in wax paper. "Here you go. Thanks for buying here."
Lea absently took the bouquet, her face falling into a frown. "Right… Thanks…"
Jessie then walked back out, dusting off her hands. "I'm ready to go when you are," She sighed, running her hands under a little bit of water.
Lea stepped backwards, backing into the door and waiting there, still.
"Maam, do you mind exiting the store so I can close?" Flynn asked Lea, the fakest smile on her face.
"Someone else is here…" Lea told Glynn, nodding towards the back room door.
"Yes, but she's not a client," Flynn said simply. "So if you would please exit the store, I can close it."
"Just tell her to call." And with that Lea walked out, relieved that she and Jessie hadn't talked. As bad as it had gone with Jessie's friend, it would have gone worse with Jessie herself.
Flynn was left feeling weird. Some stranger had asked Jesse to call her, and she didn't seem to know Jessie.
Lea rushed home, head down, shaken by the meeting. Why had Jessie been at the shop? Well, hopeless romantic as she was, her automatic thought was fate. She and Jessie were soulmates, or something along those lines, which would explain her near-instantaneous attachment to Jessie.
Feeling lost and confused, she ran home.
When Jessie walked back out of the store back, Flynn turned to her. "That woman asked me to get you to call her. Did you know her?"
"I never saw her face, but most likely no."
She was setting up the flowers on her coffee table, sitting cross-legged on the floor.
And feeling confused. What was this? Why was her relationship with this random woman suddenly so important to her? She was being a fool, as if she'd never experienced the downfalls of what she was doing. Snap out of it.
"Well anyway. Let's go." As the pair walked out of the flower shop, Flynn locked it up behind them. "I don't think I've seen Mei in months," She sighed.
But she didn't. Hard as the tried, to instinct to go after Jessie didn't go away, even though Jessie obviously wanted nothing to do with Lea.
With a heavy sigh, she pulled herself onto the couch and pulled out her phone.
