Princess Savannah was out in the town square, dressed as a commoner as she often was to be able to go out on her own. She was deep in thought, anxious about soon being betrothed to an unknown prince from another kingdom for political unity.
(can I be Savannah's personal guard?)
(Yep, maybe you come out into the town looking for her because she escaped your sight and you're like BOI WTF)
William hummed as he worked, moving around the room gracefully as if he were dancing. He mixed in the final ingredient with a small smile on his face, before corking the bottle. He placed it on the shelf carefully.
(alright thanks lol)
Evanna stomped through the square, looking ready to rip someone's head off. This was the third time Savannah had gotten out of her sights, and she was not about to let her get that far. She held her axe by her side, and the crowd respectively stayed out of her way. She spotted Savannah near the stand with fleece coats.
"WHAT IN THE HEAVENS, SAVANNAH! YOU KNOW IF ANYTHING HAPPENED IT TO YOU IT WOULD BE MY FAULT?" she took a deep breath, pushing her long braid off her shoulder. She looked up at the princess, scowling. "You won't get out of my sight again!"
Savannah jumped a bit. "Whoops! Must've forgotten to tell you I was going to the town square. Again…" They were getting stares from passerby now, and they were whispering amongst themselves. "Can't a girl have a little fun every once in a while?"
Evanna crossed her arms and huffed. "Yes. Again. Well, as long as we're here, is there anything you'd like to do? After all, I guess you can have a little fun once in a while."
(i gtg for a bit. be back in a jiffy)
William heard yelling coming from outside. He ran a hand through his shaggy blonde hair before walking outside. "You two okay?" He asked the ladies in front of him. One of them seemed oddly familiar….
"Yes, we're quite alright, sir." Savannah turned back to Evanna. "I suppose you don't approve of me dressing as a commoner either? Would you like me to wear a gown and tiara everywhere?"
Evan a snorted. "No, of course not. You can't do anything in those damned skirts! No good for anything." She said.
Savannah sighed, crossing her arms. "If you really want me to wear the tiara, I do have it with me. But I thought maybe we could go to the market ourselves for once. It's not very interesting when someone always goes and does it for you."
William gave the two women odd looks. He took a step back towards his workstation and turned around to go back to brewing.
Evanna crossed her arms, mimicking Savannah's pose. She thought for a bit. "I guess we could go to the market. You're fine without the tiara. There's no point in announcing to the world that you're the princess." She glanced at the man who had come running to them. She dug the butt of her axe into the ground a bit, and kicked at the dirt with her heel.
"Good. Let's go, then." Savannah stood up and walked over to the market. She examined fish and fresh apples, picking them up to see how fresh they were. She picked out a loaf of bread and some other things and slid a few silver coins over to the vendor.
Evanna wandered over to a nearby stand selling throwing knives, keeping an eye on Savannah. "Get some mangos, if you will!" She called out to the princess.
