"Oh, I see. I'm guessing pretty dangerous then."
"Oh, I see. I'm guessing pretty dangerous then."
"I really didn't know he was evil….. BEFORE HE TRIED TO KILL ME!"
Carter felt like he had been waiting there for hours before the door opened. He swallowed, trying to keep his nerves under control. He didn't turn to see who it was, knowing that there was only one person in the world that it would be.
"I see you're still a coward." Michael said, walking slowly around the room behind him. "You're the same as always, Carter. Too scared to break me out, too scared to get help when I contacted you." He stopped right behind Carter, and leaned in towards his ear. "You're pathetic." Michael hissed.
"I see, well, now we know that he is and we need to get to Carter." I say trying to instill confidence in them and myself. I can feel a pressure on my heart and hands. It's Carter, I know it is. I have to do something. Suddenly words appeared in my mind again. I thought of the building I had seen in my vision and Carter's car sitting out front.
"To do a blink
You do a wink.
You jump up high
To touch the sky."
I say as I look around. It didn't work. I repeat the spell again but louder and still nothing. One more time, I can do this. I have to do this. I close my eyes and think hard about Carter and the building and his car. Carter. The building. The car. I picture every detail in my mind. Once I have it I yell the spell again. When I open my eyes we are sitting behind Carter's car. I look over at Lloyd in shock and then at Jelleh. "Teleportation spell I guess." I say a loud. "You guys ready for this?"
“Shut up, Michael,” Carter finally responded. He heard his brother stop moving before a hand had found it’s way to Carter’s neck and he found himself struggling to breathe.
“What did you say?” Michael asked as his younger brother struggled in his hold. “Say it again. To my face.”
Carter shook his head as much as he could, trying desperately to breathe again. “You’re pathetic.” Michael repeated, before throwing Carter to the ground. Carter hissed in pain and coughed, holding his neck and not daring to look up. Michael kicked him in the side, knocking him to the ground, when Carter refused to look at him.
“Pathetic.”
Lloyd's heart was racing, but he nodded silently. He got out of the car and looked up at the building. (What if Michael just threw Lloyd across the room because he weighs nothing)
(At this point I'm just making Michael as big of a dick as I possibly can, so he can do anything)
"I should go first." Jelleh said, " Michael wasn't able to hurt me before."
I let out a sigh before jumping out of the car. I walked around to meet Jelleh and Lloyd. "That's a good idea Jelleh." I said with a smile. "We have to be really careful about this. Do either of you have a weapon?" I asked making eye contact with Jelleh, then Lloyd. Lloyd looked more worried than me and I felt a pang of sadness in my heart. "It's going to be ok." I whispered to myself. "If you don't have one then follow me." I walked to the back of the car and opened the trunk. Lying on the bottom was four daggers, two short swords, 2 shot guns with bullets, and 2 bows accompanied with 4 arrows each. I grabbed one of the daggers and one of the short swords. I stuck the dagger in my boot and attached the sword to my side. I grabbed the bow and arrows and put it over my shoulder. "Grab whatever you want." I said with smile. "Jelleh you should go in first, leave any weapons by the door to the building, You'll be able to get them." I'm going to find a back way in. Lloyd, will you wait out here. There's only Michael in there as far as we know but I don't know if there will be anyone else coming."
Lloyd nodded. "I'll keep watch if that's what you want, but if anything happens, come get me. I have a weapon, actually, and I'm trained in using it." Lloyd pulled a short bow from the back of his hoodie. The ends of the bow were silver, and incredibly sharp like swords. It could split into two short swords as well, so the weapon was good for close and ranged combat. "It creates its own arrows, so I always have ammo. I have a keen eye and I can shoot Michael through that window if need be."
"I'll grab the… Bow!" she said leaving it by the door, " I'm going in. " I'M DEAD!!!!
Carter flinched at Jellah's voice echoing throughout the apartment. "No-" He muttered weakly, but Michael shut him up with another kick to the side. He groaned in pain, and Michael grinned.
"Seems your little friends want to save you. Do they not see how pathetic you are?" he said, kicking his brother again. "And it seems like this one is that ex employee of mine. Why don't we give her a little welcome?" He said, pulling out a knife.
Jelleh decided to grab the now and run in. She looked around. (What floor are you on?)
"Perfect." I said nodding at Jelleh. "Good luck." I began walking towards the back of the building and came to a halt. I turned around and smiled at Lloyd. "Good luck, I'll see you in there." I said with a smile as I walked backwards. I turned around and ran to the back of the building. I didn't see a back door but a saw a window that was already open on the 3rd floor. "I'm sure they're on the first or second floor but this will give me a vantage point" I thought. I back up and run towards the building just before I get to it I pull out two arrows and stick them into the wall. I use them to climb up to the window and quietly slide into the window. I put the arrows back into the sheath and pull out my sword. I look around. This looks like, a bedroom? I see a child's race car bed in the corner and some toys scattered on the floor. "How strange." I whispered, "I'll have to come back to this later." I walked out of the room carefully and looked around. I didn't see and one so I walked over to the railing. and saw Carter lying on the ground with Michael standing over top of him with a knife. This isn't good but I can't expose myself yet. As I crouch down by the railing I hear a loud noise coming from the first floor. "Oh no." I say in a loud whisper. "Jelleh…" I think hard about Jelleh and where she is. "He has a knife. He is ready for you. DO NOT come to the second floor. DO NOT!" I repeat the message over and over until I fell the release. Then, I think about Lloyd.
"Jelleh was too loud coming in. Carter and Michael are on the second floor and I'm on the third looking down at them. You can come in but be careful and be quiet. I still don't know if anyone else is here." I repeat it until it releases. "C'mon Carter. Just stay still and quiet. Don't upset him." I say quietly hoping that maybe he hears me but Michael doesn't.
(Brokenchipmunk, it's up to you if anyone else is here and you guys can all play them and make people attack at least me just don't kill me lol. And I can maybe do the same if you guys are ok with it.)
Lloyd entered the building almost silently, gripping his bow tightly. He decided that close combat was more likely in a building and split the bow into two short swords. He motioned for Jelleh to follow him upstairs, and quietly.
Jelleh raced up to 2nd floor quietly now and arrow ready. She opened a door. No one. The next door. No one. The next door. Michael and Carter. She struck a arrow at Michael.
Lloyd concealed himself behind the doorframe, weapons at the ready. He hated that he was so scared of this guy, considering he had actual training, but he was content to just be backup if Michael left the room. He really hated violence anyways, and generally tried to avoid it if at all possible.
(Brokenchipmunk, it's up to you if anyone else is here and you guys can all play them and make people attack at least me just don't kill me lol. And I can maybe do the same if you guys are ok with it.)
(I don't think there would be, this was just Carter and Michael's meeting place so no one else would really know about it. Not even his most trusted allies)
Michael sidestepped the arrow easily. He pressed his foot harder into Carter's chest, forcing him to cough and gasp for breath. He grinned at his younger brother again before throwing the knife at Jelleh. The blade hit her foot directly. "You really thought that a little girl would save you?" Michael asked his brother, nearly laughing. Carter only groaned weakly and attempted to push his foot off. Michael pressed harder before removing it. He stalked towards Jellah, grinning.
Jelleh lifted her foot the knife on it. She picked it up and threw it out the window blood on her foot and the knife but she didn't feel a thing…
(How?? He stabbed her foot?)
(She is apparently a ghost and um dead in a way)
(If she's a ghost and things go through her, shouldn't it be that she can't pick things up? It kinda seems OP that she can let certain things go through her and other things don't)
(Ok I'm changing post)
