@Uh.Yeah.I.Sure.HOPE.It.Does!
Meara smiled too. She tried to suppress the redness that was building in her cheeks. "Should we take this to the park or something?" She asked quietly, the electricity of the kiss still running through her.
Meara smiled too. She tried to suppress the redness that was building in her cheeks. "Should we take this to the park or something?" She asked quietly, the electricity of the kiss still running through her.
"Sure, I'll drive you?" Isaac asked, wanting to spend more time with Meara.
"Sounds good to me." She stood up and walked out with Isaac, smiling to herself.
As they walked to his car, Isaac grabbed Meara's hand, escorting her to where he'd parked. He unlocked the car and opened her door for her before closing it and running to the other side to get into the driver's seat and taking ahold of her hand once again.
Meara held in her laugh as she watched Isaac working so hard to charm her. "How are you doing?" She asked trying to create small talk.
"I'm doing great. What about you?" Isaac asked her, still holding her hand. "And why are you laughing?" he asked, starting to laugh himself.
"Oh, nothing. I find chivalry quite entertaining. I'm feeling amazing." She flashed back to the kiss they had earlier.
"Well then I think you'll find that I can be quite chivalrous." Isaac joked as with Meara as they drove back to the park.
"You seem like the chivalrous type." They arrived at the park and Meara waited, knowing Isaac would want to open her door.
Isaac shut off the car and ran around to the other side once again to open Meara's door for her. "What would you like to do?" he asked her once she was out of the car.
(I gotta leave for dinner, I'll be back in a little bit)
(Alright)
"Walk, talk, anything." She took his hand and walked with him.
Isaac felt Meara take his hand and he smiled. "Do you want to walk along the beach then?" he asked. (sorry, I imagined that there was a lake there with a beach)
"Sounds good to me." Meara smiled, feeling oddly safe by his side.
Isaac pulled his hand away from Meara's only to put his arm around her shoulders and pull her closer to him. "Then let's head that way." he laughed, grinning down at her.
Meara gasped under her breath when Isaac let go of her hand but relaxed again when he put it around her shoulder. She breathed in the scent of him and the scent of the lake and the trees around them. "It's so beautiful out here."
"It really is. Have you ever watched the sun set over the water? It's an amazing sight." Isaac breathed, thinking of the last time he had watched the sun set. It had been quite a long time, he realized. He gave her a light kiss in her hair before they continued their walk on the beach. Isaac felt as though he'd known Meara forever, Maybe she's my soulmate he thought to himself.
"Speaking of sunset." Meara pointed to the sun that was nearing sunset. "Time sure flies when you're having fun." She stood tiptoe to give him a kiss on the cheek. She set her feet down on the ground again and smiled shyly, looking at the ground. She had done it!
Isaac felt Meara kiss his cheek and he grinned, looking down at her again before looking back at the sunset. "Why don't we sit here in the grass and watch it?" he asked her, wanting to watch the sun set before they continued on their walk.
"Of course! Wouldn't miss it." She plopped herself down in the grass.
Isaac laughed at her eagerness, loving how excited she was about watching the sunset with him. He sat down with her and put his arm around her waist and pulled her into him so she could lean her head on his shoulder.
(I respond quickly sorry)
Meara followed his lead and leaned her head on his shoulder. The sunset was beautiful. Sitting there with Isaac she thought to herself, "Is he my soulmate? That seems too easy." She was careful not to be too hopeful.
(I have to go to bed now so this is my last post tonight. Goodnight! Talk to you all tomorrow!)
Isaac gave her another light kiss in her hair as she leaned into him. The sunset was beautiful and the light reflected off the water creating beautiful rainbows of light in the leaves on the trees around them. Isaac sighed, feeling content and happy, sitting there with Meara.
Alex's grin grew. "I adore Hamilton. I live and breathe Hamilton."
"Me too!" Eve got really excited, "My friends hated it after a while though because they said I sang the songs too much." she laughed.
Alex shook his head. "There is no such thing as too much Hamilton," he said grandly and started quietly singing Yorktown.
"Obviously, how could anyone get too much Hamilton?" Eve agreed before singing along with Alex softly.
