(I am just going to have my characters show up at the park)
Aya stepped out of her car and took a deep breath in, wondering what type of craziness she was walking into. She spotted a group of people standing together and decided to ask them if any of them were in the same situation as I.
Liam checked his phone again, Why am I doing this? Eh, because I'm bored. He made his way toward a growing group crowded around a bench.
Isaac got out of his car, immediately noticing a group of people by one of the benches. "Are you all here because you got a text from some sort of pop-up?" he asked as he got closer.
"Um" he clreared his throat "Excuse me is this (name of adress cause I forgot)?" He asked looking down at them
Alexander looked up. "This is it." He nodded at a few more people who had just arrived. "We're all patiently awaiting our soulmates, so go ahead and join us." He then looked over at the girl who had arrived first.
"Lucky guess. I'm Alexander."
Brianna entered the place at the same time as another guy. She headed to where a bunch of teens had congregated and silently sat down on the nearest bench.
Mila was running late, she spotted a group of people in the place where they where supposed to meet, "hey" she said breathing heavily from the running, "Are all of you here because of the pop-up?" She asked as she recovered her breath
"Yes." Liam responded. "What's your name?"
"Maybe we should go around and say our names since we're all here for the same reason." Eve suggested, wanting to get to know everyone that had shown up to the meeting spot for their supposed 'soulmates.'
"Mila nice to meet you" she smiled at the boy "and you are?"
"Um… I'm Braelynn, by the way. And I'm not really here for any particular reason. Just needed to get out of the house," i shrugged nonchalantly.
"I'm Alexander. Nice to meet you guys." He smiled at the group.
"And, I'm Brianna, but you can call me Brie," she piped up.
Dexter appeared at the bench suddenly, surprising several people. "Are… you the soulmates?" They all nodded. "Huh, more than i assumed. Well, I'm Dexter. Dont mind me here."
Brie looked up at the newcomer and smiled at him "Hi. I'm Brie."
"I'm Eve. Glad to see I'm not alone in this." She laughed.
"The name's Isaac." he said, looking around at the other people in the group.
“I’m Lucille.” Lucille reluctantly said.
“I’m Jayden, pleased to meet you all.” He grinned, but he and Lucille both knew it was complete and utterly fake.
Alex looked up at the new ones. Hi. I'm Alexander." He looked back at the group. "Now, what I'm wondering is how we're to find our soulmates in this mess?"
"Maybe we are all each others soulmates." Liam said sarcastically, with a smirk on his face. Maybe this was going to be more fun than he thought
Brie frowned. "I can't see that happening. Ever," she said, eyeing Liam.
Liam smirked even more at that comment, this was going to be more fun than he expected.
"Um, yeah. I agree Brie." Eve commented, looking at Liam suspiciously.
Jayden and Lucille looked at each other.
Alexander scanned the group. "We're an even number. Maybe we have to figure out who we're supposed to be looking for?"
"Well… for the record, there is an even number of boys and girls," i added quietly. I looked over at the boy that had called himself Jayden. He seemed mean, but there was something about him that made it impossible to look away. "That's assuming that everyone here is straight. Correct me if i'm wrong." I added this when everyone was quiet for a moment, afraid that i had offended someone accidently.
Jayden nudged his sister, “Sounds like a perfect reality TV show to me.” Lucille chuckled.
"Okay, what kind of messed up freak messes with a bunch of teens?" Brie asked indignantly.
"Is this supposed to be some big joke?" Eve almost shouted in anger.
