"So what's this battle about anyway?" asked Damian curiously.
"So what's this battle about anyway?" asked Damian curiously.
"vampires and wolfs blah blah" she said.
"Wolves?" He asked, surprised. "I've never heard of any Wolfpack that had to deal with vampires."
"welcome to my family".
"So which side are you on?" He asked, deciding to keep the tales of his own family's shenanigans hidden for now.
"wolf" she said.
"Not surprising," he mused, "So what's the problem with the vampires?"
"Come with me " she said grabbing his hnd pulling him along.
Damian raises an eyebrow in surprise, but manages to keep from stumbling as he kept pace.
she walked into a darkneed room where there was a bed with veil around it and there was a boy about six cut scars and skin peeling off from vampires.
"What happened to him?" asked Damian, a little off guard at the sight, but not frightened since he'd seen worse.
"This is my brother he was once a great healthy little ruuner untill he was in the woods and wandered off to far and a vampire got him".
"So you're at war over one attack?" asked Damian quietly, "Not to be insensitive, but that seems a little much…"
Briar glared at him with a hateful expression rolling her eyes and letting go of his hand, she walked out.
Damian winced, he knew that was insensitive, but still. An entire war over one boy? Sure he might be a royal, but he knew his dad wouldn't do that, not without good reason.
"Just go home Damian" she said sadly.
"We talked about this. I refuse to leave you." He said firmly.
"he's my brother Damian Now leave if you don't want to see me die".
"That can't happen if I'm here to protect you." He said.
she put a hand on his cheek "You can't protect me if im gone".
"Gone where?" Asked Damian, very afraid he'd done something wrong.
"Dead " Briar said.
Damian visibly paled, "Briar What… What are you saying????"
"I'm willing to die for the people I love". "are you?"
Damian sighed, "Have been for a long time. It's another trend my family follows."
