Sabine came out of her room, having enough of being plagued by her nightmares. She walked into the kitchen quietly, not interrupting Macha, Cruz, and Augustus' conversation.

"What?" She asked, her own frown returning. "Peter, no. this is different. I would not hurt myself for no reason, and I love you too much, I would never leave you intentionally like that. This was to remember everybody."

"You—" his voice cut itself off as he was starting to become upset. He shut his mouth to keep his patience.

"I'm sorry." she said, her voice a whisper now.

"I'm only joking." Blake said softly, pressing a kiss to Frankie's cheek. "I promised I'd stay away for you. I won't drink." He assured her before turning to Ace. "I don't Macha would want those nurses checking you out, man." He grinned weakly.

Frankie laughed, with a bit of worry in her own voice. "She wouldn't. I've been meaning to thank you all by the way for taking me in. You've been so kind."

Frankie blushed. "Aw shucks guys." She smirked. "Enough sappiness. Ace why in the world would you go to get a cheeseburger when your stomach is in this state?" She was laughing but was truly a bit scared for him.

"Yeah, no kidding. Common sense, Ace." Blake ruffled Ace's hair playfully.

Frankie sat watching as Ace blushed playfully and complained that he neeeeeeeeeded that cheeseburger.
