August's jaw tensed with shock, "Are.. you alright, Macha?"

Sabine put a hand gently on Cruz's hand. "I'm sorry. I mean it."

He slid his hand away. "It's alright. I'm alright."

“Help— me.”, Macha croaked weakly as the cold voice spoke again. “Let me take over.. I can end all your pain…”

"How?" Augustus asked, trying to keep himself calm because this was rawly terrifying.

Sabine felt a chill down her spine. It was her turn to scream.

Grey stone began to slowly creep over Macha’s skin, and she let out a hoarse scream, trying to fight it back.

(Where is this all taking place?)

The apartment

Cruz covered his ears. What the hell is wrong with these people?

Augustus took a step back, standing helplessly and at a total loss.

Sabine stood up. "Everything Cruz. We've all already established that we have issues. She pulled out her daggers, running into the room. No! Macha just lost her stone skin! She can't get in back agsin!

Cruz kept his hands over his ears, closing his eyes to try and nap now. Not really a reason why, other than his general, ever-present lack of interest and engagement.

Skylar hobbled through the hallways until she reached the apartment. She struggled to open the door but finally did, when she saw a bunch of new people, and Heard screams from another room. "Whaa–What is going on?" She gasped, trying to get to Sabine and Macha quickly, but she almost fell when she hit against the side of a couch.

Frankie wiped her tears away and looked up to see a doctor who ushered her inside. She stood up and shoved past him, busting in the door and rushing to Blake's side. He looked so much better, but tired. She hugged him tightly. "Oh, Blake. Promise me our dates won't be like this." Her tears dripped on to his shirt, making little-wet splotches all over. She was very tired but didn't dare leave Blake again.

(What should I do now…)

Macha pushed with all her might, fighting back the stone trying to dominate her. She gritted her teeth, shoving harder, and it began to disintegrate.

"Sabine? What happened?" Skylar asked, hitting her foot on the wall and wincing. She readjusted her crutches so they weren't poking into her armpits. "What is happening to Macha?"

One final push, and all the stone in Macha exploded into gray dust. She sat upright, coughing.

Sabine dropped her daggers. "MACHA."

"Can.. should i get her some water…?" August attempted to help.

"Macha?" Skylar asked, still trying to figure out what happened.

Sabine nodded at Augustus. "That's probably a good idea."
