Kata jumped into Blake's arms.(silently sending the message choose Zander, he gave you Rozer-rum)

Blake let out a surprised yelp as Kata jumped into his arms, happily scratching behind her ears. As a child, Blake had never really been able to interact with animals of any kind, well… besides street pigeons at least. So he was thrilled to be able to play with Kata.

Ace is standing stunned and lonely and sad. (Kameo died today)

Kata playfully meowed and nibbled on his wings. Zander chuckled she took to him almost as fast as she had to Zander himself.

Blake grabbed a loose feather from his wing and dangled it playfully above Kata, making sure his fingers were out of reach from her claws.

(Dragon noises)
"Macha? Blake? A new person?"
(dragon moan)
"Alright, don't scare him this time."
(Dragon sound of annoyance)
"Hey!"
(Dragon snort)
"Fine, fine, fine. Okay." Ace and Zodiac swerved, changing their course.

Kata continued to play with Blake. She was actually having fun.

"You think she likes me?" Blake giggled as Kata swiped at the feather, his eyes gleaming with childish excitement. The alcohol was still strong in his system, but chances are Blake would be excited to play with Kata no matter how sober he was.

Kata turned serious and jumped into Zander's arms. She mentally prepared him for what he needed to know. Zander jumped back from the window and pulled Blake behind the couch. Kata then grew to full size to prepare for a fight. After all, there was a dragon coming.

As Frankie lay there she looked down at her simple bracelet. The same one her father had given her on her 8th birthday. She thought of his unfair death, how he fought so hard to protect those with powers, like himself and had died just the same. She wondered if she had powers too. Frankie fiddled with her bracelet a bit and then checked the clock still over 2 hours till the ball. She sighed. If only her father could see her now, moving around, no friends and just a mom to talk to, she was a disappointment. Frankie pulled Laney close and closed her eyes. If only.

Ace brought Zodiac to a stop near a window where she said they smelled the strongest. He grabbed his two pearlescent guns and slipped his bone knife into his pocket before kicking through the glass, while screaming "I'm here to save you!"

Blake let out a surprised yelp as he was dragged, considering how drunk he was, his coordination was off already. He slumped helplessly at Zander's side, staring at Macha in confusion.

Being shouted at by a madman on the back of a dragon did not help Kata's nerves. So she did what all cats do. She jumped to bite the birdie.
