After talking with Jackson, he left and decided to walk into the club. Once Iseul opened the door he quickly glanced around before walking in. Everything seemed normal, people were dancing and drinking. To get a better view he stood on his toes to see. He found some guy in the corner hugging a cat.
Iseul began to walk over to him moving through the people who were having fun. When he finally was at the corner, he knew who it was. Iseul stopped and sighed,"Zander why are you in the corner?"
"Whoa!" Josh laughed. "Pace yourself, okay? Don't want'cha to throw it all up later." Josh grinned at Blake before sitting back down.
"I'm hungry!" Blake whined, shoving a few more chips in his mouth. "Haven't eaten since I met you." He grumbled, sifting through the cabinets for something to drink.
"Wait, really?!" Josh was now concerned. "Did you like, not eat or something–Did they not feed you when you were in the cell? They had to have fed you at least once." Josh stepped over to the mini-fridge and handed Blake a soda. "What in the world…" he muttered under his breath. Are R.A.C. guys trained to not eat or something? Or is he just really bad at taking care of himself. Josh's mouth twisted into a little frown as he contemplated all of this.
"Well I was unconscious most of the time." Blake said thoughtfully. "I've been unconscious a lot lately." He added, his face twisting with concern. He gratefully took the soda Josh gave him and tried to pace himself while drinking it.
Macha was watching this all with amusement, glad at how well Ace and Blake were getting on. While Blake wolfed down his food, Macha gave him one last searching glance before giving in to trust. "Here.", she said, passing him a slice of red velvet cake. Turning to look at Ace, she couldn't help but smirk.
Dani watched the boys go into the living room, then she led Macha to her room. "Okay. Let's see here." She was SUPER excited to help Macha get ready for the party. It had been a while since she had gotten to help someone else dress up.
"I don't want to have more than I'm rationed." He cautiously set the piece of cake down next to himself. With a wary glance around the room and one last longing look at the cake, he backed off. Eating extra wasn't worth getting hurt. He learned that a long time ago.
"What are you alking about? What ration?", Macha asked, concerned.
"See what?", she asked Dani.
(wait the boys haven't left yet, haven't they?)
"Yeah, what ration?" Josh asked, closing the mini-fridge and stepping closer.
(Welcome back, @Natasha ^-^)
(Nope, all of the boys are still here.)
Blake shoved his hands into his pockets awkwardly. "We're always rationed one thing for a meal." He stated as if this were obvious. He looked around the room at everyone else in confusion.
"Not here. You're not in the military anymore, Blake."
"Have as much as you like!", Macha smiled.
Peter listened quietly, while preening his wings.
"So…you only eat one thing?" This just about broke Josh. He had always eaten a variety of foods at every meal. He loved to snack on things. This…this was just wrong. "Is that what the R.A.C. taught you?" he asked, cautiously.
Ace sat and listened to the conversation. He cast a few glances at Macha and Dani, but his mind mostly focused on the weird red cake, Macha had passed to Blake.
Blake reached for the cake, although he still looked slightly unconvinced. After cautiously holding the plate for a minute he quietly took a bite and scanned the room nervously. After seeing that everything was calm, he quickly ate the rest. "Thanks, Macha." He mumbled shyly, taking a few sips of soda afterwards.
(I'm out for a few hours again, sorry! you guys have control!)
Blake finished his red cake, which was good, because Ace was almost ready to grab it out of his hands and try it himself.
