Kirsten looked ahead and strained her ears. She thought she heard voices.
"Hello?!" she called again. Her voice was thinner than she wanted, but hopefully it'd carry.

Pine leapt up and caught the first branch of the tree Lea was suspended in and pulled himself up clumsily, catching himself from falling and pressing as close as possible to the trunk. It's just climbing a tree. It'll be alright. Just pretend you're with (his adopted father) Brendon. Renewed with a fierce love for his guardian, he pounced up the tree like a squirrel, reaching Lea within a few minutes and gasping for breath. "Hey! Did you enjoy the view?"
"Kirsten!!" Cassie called out. "Are you okay? Are you trapped?"
Kirsten finally recognized the voice. "Cassie! Is that you?" she called out loudly, and her voice cracked. Overwhelming relief washed over her, replacing the fear that she was completely alone.
"I'm in the clearing, I'm stuck under a sheet of metal!"
"Pine, can you help her????" Relief flooded Cassie, knowing that her best friend was okay.
Cassie propped herself up on her elbows. The sun was setting. Cassie stared up at the sky, wondering how many of her other classmates had survived.
"Oh my god, thank goodness." Kirsten murmured at the sound of Cassie's voice. Someone was coming to get her, and she was going to be fine. Probably.
A guy walked into the clearing.
(Ya'll have room for one more?)
(obviously @ShadowMisfit join on in ^^)
Pine, having managed to get Lea from the tree, sprinted over to Kirsten, by now out of breath and exasperated. "Okay, y'all two grab on this side, I'll grab here. 1-2-3… Push!!"
Kirsten gasped in relief and painfully rolled out of the way of the metal sheet. It landed back down with a thud, and she slowly stood up, leaning heavily on a tree. Her legs were almost numb.
"Ugh, my head." she whispered.
Pine rushed over and held her steady by her shoulders, looking into her eyes. "You okay?"
Kirsten looked into the guy's eyes and finally recognized him.
"Pine. Hi." A wave of nausea rolled over her, and she pulled away from him hurriedly. She puked into a bush on the edge of the clearing and wiped her mouth.
"Sorry. I think my legs are regaining feel. Let's head back to wherever you guys are."
She took a step forward and stumbled.
Cassie watched Kirsten carefully, checking for any injuries.
Kirsten walked slowly, following Pine through the trees. Then she looked up.
"Cassie." she said. "Cassie!" She quickened her pace.
(Thanks. Following protocol:

Personality: Quiet, Blunt, and keen-eyed. )
Lucy opened her eyes for what felt like the first time in hours. Every bone in her body ached, and she felt something warm and sticky in her throat. She looked down to find her legs pinned by a chair. Her back, pressed against a metal wall. A small metal shard stuck from her side.
She yelled out, "Can anyone hear me? I need a hand…"
Am I really that unappealing? Pine thought to himself regarding Kirsten's… recent exploitation. He followed the group excitedly, though, thrilled that he wasn't alone.
Hearing a sudden call, his head turned. "Hello?"
(Poor Pine. He's the only boy. XD)
Cassie gave Kirsten a weak smile. "Hey."
(Kirsten and Cassie are bffs, right?)
"Oh my gosh, you're alive." She pulled Cassie into a hug. "Can you believe any of this?"
She backed away. "Paul's dead." she told Cassie grimly. "So's Lucas. I saw them a few feet away from my clearing."
"What about Matthew, Carlos, and Cameron? Am I seriously the only dude alive?" Pine asked somberly, a worried expression etched in his face. Paul was his closest friend. Plus hadn't they been sitting next to each other?
Then why did I live?
(Yes they are)
Tears sprang to Cassie's eyes. So bowed her head for a minute. She shifted slightly, gasping as white hot pain shot through her leg.
“They’re d-dead?” Callie began crying silently. She then remembered what they had to do and promptly wiped her tears. “We still need to figure out how to get home. Wh-what should we do?”
“Besides, we still need to tend to all of our wounds.”
"Let's focus on getting a shelter built and a source of water established. We'll worry about food and a game plan once that is done," Pine stated, voice cracking ever so slightly on established.
“Okay. Maybe we should stay away from potentially collapsing plane parts,” Callie stated, looking around at the scraps.
