Oliver parks the car and his sister immediately jumps out of the car.
"See you later!" She yells and runs off to meet her friend.
He sighs and waves, and walks over to where a small band was playing.

Veda’s friend ran back and handed her a cup of some drink. She sipped it and coughed, almost spitting it out. “What is that?!” She exclaimed.
“It’s just vodka,” her roommate explained.
“Vodka? Oh I am so underage,” she said, shoving the cup back into her roommates hands. She walked away and shifted through the crowd, occasionally waving awkwardly at other people from her highschool.
Oliver walks closer to where they're selling drinks to grab a soda. He notices the girl with the pink hair out of the corner of his eye and walks slowly over to her.
"Hello, I didn't think we would meet again so soon. Thanks for the directions earlier, by the way. I can't remember if I thanked you or not. All I remember was me making a fool of myself." He laughs.
Veda looked over at the boy from earlier and smiled. “Hey! And you did, but I feel like the incident was a bit more memorable,” she said, laughing. “I’m Veda Cinds, by the way.” She held out her hand for him to shake.
Oliver takes her hand and shakes it. "I'm Oliver. So, you're a party person?"
“Not often. My roommate dragged me along,” Veda explained, “What about you?” It was good to meet someone new, she would be given a clean slate with him. Most others she met didn’t seem to like her loud personality, so she had hope this would be different.
"My sister forced me to come. You would think that a nineteen-year-old would have better things to do than drag her brother to town parties, but I guess not. I haven't even seen her since we got here." He answered. "Anyway, we just moved here last week, so you're one of the first people I've met. How is this town?" He asked her and pushed his hair out of his eyes.
“Oh, really? Welcome to town, then,” Veda said, smiling. “It’s decent here, you tend to get to know everyone pretty easily. But, that also means that gossip spreads easily, so I’d watch out for that.”
