Aye, I will! Any certain genre you were thinking about doing before I make my character?
I was thinking either fantasy or contemporary! (If that's what you would call it)
Okay, cool, I’ll make my character!
okay!
Alright, here’s mine!
Name: Veda Cinds
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Species: Human
Looks: Shoulder length/thick pink hair, light blue eyes, tanish skin, 5’6, slim/slightly curvy frame, Hispanic/Caucasian race
Personality: Outgoing, fierce, protective, can be clingy at times with her friends, sweet, vulgar, no filter when speaking her mind, “touchy” in a ‘hits you when laughing’ way.
Aw she sounds awesome! What genre do you want to do? Or what do you think would fit the characters better?
Ayy thanks, yours is great too! I mean, fantasy or like realistic could work, and they go on some sort of adventure.
yeah. how about realistic? I think I'm better at that.
Sounds good to me! Do you want to start or should I?
if you have an idea you can start! I can't think of how to start it or I would haha
Lmao okay I’ll start then.
Veda sat on a bench outside of a cafe. She had her legs stretched out across the whole seat, her earbuds in blasting music and a straight black coffee in her hand. The rustic cafe had always been her favorite spot to get coffee, so she was considered a regular there. She tipped her head back, feeling the sun and the soft breeze on her skin.
Oliver yawns as he opens the door to the closest cafe he could find in town. He and his family had just moved to the small town last week, so he hasn't had the time to check it out yet. He orders a coffee to go and heads back outside to sit in the warm sunlight and relax.
Veda sipped her coffee slowly. Unlike others, she enjoyed the sour taste of the black coffee. It reminded her of her own personality at times, and she snickered to herself at that. She blew the messy strands of pink hair from her from her face and scrolled through a playlist on her phone to find an upbeat tune.
Once Oliver is done with his coffee, he gets up and looks around. He was supposed to go to the store to pick up some groceries his mom had asked him to get, but the problem was that he had no idea where that was. He looks to his right and sees a girl sitting on the bench outside the cafe. 'Should I ask her? She seems busy.' He wonders. 'I'll just do it.' Oliver walks over to where she's sitting. "Excuse me, I don't mean to bother you but do you know if there's a supermarket around here?"
Veda took her earbuds out when the boy came over. She faked a look of offense and said, “Do I look like a walking GPS to you?”
But then she smiled and laughed to herself. “Only joking. Yeah, there is. A few blocks from here, actually,” she explained, swinging her legs off the bench to sit up straight.
Oliver chuckles nervously. "Haha.. thank you. See you later." He smiles and turns to leave. As he turns around, he awkwardly bumps into the trash can and looks back at her embarrassed, and pats the trash can before starting to laugh. "I swear I'm more composed on most days, I promise I'm not always this clumsy."
Veda laughed when he bumped into the trash can. “Yeah, we’ll see about that one!” She declared and offered him a goodbye wave. She finished the last little bit of her coffee and got up from the bench, brushing her dark joggers off.
Oliver smiles and heads off to find the supermarket. He quickly picks up the groceries and pays. As he's checking out, he overhears two guys talking about something happening in the town that afternoon. It sounds like a sort of party downtown from what he hears. He thinks about the party the whole walk home, wondering if it's worth going to.
Veda was back at her apartment with her roommate, a girl about her age with a surprisingly much more wild personality. “Come on, Veda! Everyone is going, and you need to socialize,” her roommate squealed.
“It’s probably not going to be that interesting. I bet that it’ll be mostly just older creeps,” Veda called back from her bedroom.
“Do me a solid, okay! I’ll pay for your coffee one day, or something.”
“There’s the bribe, now I’m in,” Veda said, laughing. She got up and went to her closet. Most of her clothes were very casual, so she didn’t have many clothes that would be decent for a night out.
After he hands the groceries to his mom once he gets home, Oliver's sister comes in the room.
"Hey, you should come to the party with me tonight. I heard it's gonna get interesting." She says with a wink.
"Why are you saying it like that?" He asks suspiciously.
She laughs. "No reason, I just think you should come. Mom wants us too anyways."
He considers it for a second. "Yeah sure, it couldn't hurt." He replies and shoos her from the room so he can change into something better than what he was wearing at the moment.
Veda decided to just go with a white crop top, black jeans, and a pair of sneakers. She went to her roommate. “How’s this?”
“Not exactly something that would attract attention, but it’s cute,” she said jokingly.
“Yeah yeah, Whatever. You’re driving, though, I’m not wasting gas.”
After Oliver gets dressed in a grey shirt, blue jeans and his favorite leather jacket, he heads downstairs to quickly put his shoes on and meet his sister.
"You ready?" She asks after he stands back up.
"Yeah. I'll drive. Well, of course, I'll drive because you don't have your license yet. It's been two years." He rolls his eyes and chuckles.
"Hey, what's the point of having a younger brother if he won't drive you places?" She teases as Oliver starts to back out of the garage and onto the street. He drives them downtown until they arrive at the town gathering.
Veda rode with her roommate, some upbeat rap music blasting through the speakers the whole way. They soon arrived at the gathering and found a parking space. She hopped out of the car and went with her roommate to where the main area was.
“Go socialize!” Her roommate said. “I’ll grab us some drinks!” And she walked off.
Veda huffed glancing around and wondering how long she had to be there.
