Amber took a moment to finish her salad before answering the question. “No, I don’t,” she laughed. “I was being careful, though. Before you showed me all of that magic stuff. I was planning on staying awake in the living room with a butcher knife just in case you were crazy,” she joked.
"That would make sense." She laughed along with Amber, as if they have been friends for a long time. "Theres a whole lot more with my power that you can't even imagine." Her power could be pretty scary if she used it in the wrong way. "I'm ready to go whenever you are."
Amber nodded in response and got up. She took out her wallet, tossing a few bills onto the table as a tip. She walked over and out the door, heading over to her car.
Xira got it the car. "Would it be weird if I slide down the slide?" She didn't want to embarrass Amber with her childish dreams. "I'm so excited!" She watched as the scenery passed her by and the colors fused together. "Weird question, but what kind of kid were you?"
Amber unlocked her door and got inside, her foot on the break as she started up the car. She turned down the volume of the radio so it was easier to talk over. “Nah, I don’t think that’s weird. I probably will too,” she laughed. She began to drive to the park that was a few blocks away. “Hm? Oh, um, i was a pretty energetic kid. Super hyper and talkative,” she said. “You?”
"I was a shy kid, a pushover, did anything anybody told me to do pretty much. I hated getting in trouble and cried easily." She grown to be more tough and that's the only thing she was grateful to the place for, just that one thing. "I was small as well." She wiggled her fingers around imagining water running through them.
Amber nodded her head slowly as she listened. She glanced over at Xira, but didn’t keep her eyes on her long because she had to concentrate on the road. “We sound like the complete opposite of each other as kids,” she chuckled, a smile on her dark red lips.
