"Cade.", she repeated, trying to shake him awake.

Cade heard a voice and opened his eyes, feeling dizzy. "Scarlet?" He asked, gasping when he noticed the wound and the blood on her lips and chin. "Why are you here? You should be resting hold on…" He grabbed the chair behind him and pulled himself up.

He called me by my name. "I'll be fine, sit back down. It's my fault you're hurt anyways."

"Not, it's not. I'm the idiot that decided to lure the guards away by myself. Which I still think might have been the better option." Cade gestured to the wound on her stomach, not sitting down. He looked over at Harper and gestured again. "She's not listening to me. Tell her to lay down."

Scarlet shook her head stubbornly, ignoring the blood that leaked from the wound. "Only if you sit down. If I had been more careful we would've all gotten away safe." She glanced at Quinn. "And hey, cool bunny thing." She oughed up more blood.

"Fine." Cade plopped down on the chair. "Now lay down and rest."

Scarlet sighed, lying down on the couch. "How's Willow?"

Blood. There was so much blood. Willow traced her fingers in the bloody walls and laughed, because the blood was real. Her chipmunk laid dead by the door and the deer she'd saved was being slowly devoured by Willow.

Cade shrugged. "Dunno." He looked up at Harper. "Seeing as both of us are unable to do anything, can you go check on her?"
