@PuffPoff
Cade climbed to the middle of the tree and looked out, seeing Quinn join him and the princess. "What are you doing?!" He yelled to them. "I told you to stay back!"

Does it look like I can talk. I'm a rabbit, Cade. She thought to herself, continuing to run. This is it. I'm going to die from embarrassment. Quinn had never used her power, unless it was during Hide and Seek. Other than that, she never shape shifted.
( Gtg, don't go see the Queen without moi xD )
If this was a less serious situation, Cade would have laughed and made fun of Quinn. A few guards stopped under the tree. One began to climb after him, while another removed some kind of gun from it's holster.
Scarlet yanked a crossbow from the hands of a gurad and fired at the one climbing Cade's tree, calling to Quinn and firing at anyone who came near to Cade. Out of no where, an arrow whistled by and lodged itself in her stomach, deep.
(Scarlet no!!!)
(Scarlet yes!)
(IF YOU KILL SCARLET SABINE WILL DIE TOO)
(she won't die, don't worry)
(AAAHHH NO I WON'T I PROMISE)
"Scarlet!" Cade screamed as he saw an arrow lodge itself in her stomach. He jumped down from the tree and ran over to her, dodging the guards.
(……………………..-__- My pen is hovering over Sabine, ready to strike THE SECOND you slip up @Topaz.)
All the noise was sucked out of the world around her as she fell to the ground, almost in slow motion, the crossbow yanked out of her grasp by a guard.
(……………………..-__- My pen is hovering over Sabine, ready to strike THE SECOND you slip up @Topaz.)
I WON'T SHE WON'T DIE I PRomise!! WAIT…………………….. if you kill Sabine I'll make Fae be tortured to death, so/……..)
Cade ran up and knocked out the guard who had taken the crossbow. "Scarlet! Hey, are you conscious?!"

I WON'T SHE WON'T DIE I PRomise!! WAIT…………………….. if you kill Sabine I'll make Fae be tortured to death, so/……..)
(Well you're already doing that sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo…………………………………)
All Scarlet could see was red as warm blood poured from her wound, the arrow tangled in the briars. She opened her mouth to scream, but nothing came out. The pain swelled into a mind-numbing crescendo and every one of her worst nightmares flashed before her eyes, which were open wide in terror and shock. "Cade…?", she croaked, unable to move.

I can do worse. Say………………. having her wings gnawed of by a cannibal? being diagnosed with lung cancer? I can do so much worse……
"Okay that's a yes…" Cade slung Scarlet's arm over his shoulder after he shot a guard with the crossbow. "Can you walk?"
Scarlet opened her mouth to answer but only ended up hacking up enough blood to stain her whole dress red again. Her mother's voice taunted her.
Cade shook his head and picked up Scarlet, carrying her bridal style as he ran from the guards. "Willow's house….oh no where was it?" He mumbled to himself.
Blood.
There was so much blood. Everywhere, on her clothes, pouring from her stomach, dripping from her mouth. Coating her every thought, sickly sweet on her tongue.
Scarlet remembered blood.
Her childhood was filled with it, her hair was dyed with it, her bedchambers stained with it.
Scarlet hated blood, hated red. Hated herself.
There was nothing she could do. The blood would just keep raining down, choking her.
Drowning her.
Blood.
There was so much blood.
Cade nearly tripped as he was running. He gulped, breathing heavily. Legs….hurting…loosing air….headache…. He ignored his mind and kept running, the blood from Scarlet's wound seeping onto his clothes.
Scarlet was trapped. Trapped in a dark bloodstained hole in her mind, trapped in the useless, paralyzed slab of meat that was her body. Caught in a web of nightmares and memories, the line between the two blurred.
All she could hear was her mother's cruel laugh,
All she could feel were the faltering beats of Cade's heart.
Cade spotted Willow's house up ahead. (He's lost most of the guards by now.) He ran inside and shut the door with his foot before placing Scarlet onto a couch. As soon as he did, he plopped down on the floor and closed his eyes. It only took a few seconds before he passed out.
