How is a cropped and sleeveless hoodie practical in any way!” King complained, his dark eyes flickering to the kid that had just sat down next to Osora.

“How are those shoes in any way practical.” Osora countered, leaning back and kicking her own boots up onto her desk. “It shoes off my scars.” That was a weird thing to say, but to her friends, it meant ‘easy access to my skin’. “Nice hair. Rob any more stores lately? Successfully?” She asked, turning to look at the boy next to her. Emotionless as ever, despite the snort her words drew from Reeha.

Teagan rolled his eyes. "Miss, i don't know what you are talking about." He replied in that strange, untraceable accent. "As for the hair…thanks." he shrugged slightly, picking at his fingernails and not looking at her. His blonde hair was messy and unkempt, sticking up at odd angles all over his head. He tipped his head from side to side, cracking his neck, and opened up a notebook, scribbling something in it before closing it again.

"Toki, please tell me you aren't making friends with petty criminals again." A boy with golden blonde hair and light green eyes said, sighing with the same weariness of a parent. He was tall and gangly, and his accent sounded a bit more American than Japanese.

"Of course not. He and I aren't friends." Osora said matter-of-factly, pulling her bag onto her lap to dig around it. A black slipper of sorts, like a ballerina slipper, became visible for just a moment before it was covered by black and red fabric. "Accidental acquaintances after he attempted to rob me. I get the feeling that's the new way to meet people. Hey King, maybe that's how you can get Aki to go out with you."

@ElderGod-Icefire

"It was not attempted robbery, it was an attempt at some entertainment. Which you failed to provide." Teagan didn't look at her, keeping his attention on the silver ring on his finger, turning his hand around and around and watching the ring catch the light. "Besides, i got away with this." He pulled the chip bag from his backpack with a grin. "That's not attempt, that's a success." He smirked, putting the bag away. "And I'm not a petty criminal." You have no idea what I've done. What i will do.

@croccin-champagne

"It's an attempt when I didn't even bother trying to take it back." Osora countered, pulling out a jumble of metal vaguely in the shape of a clock and setting it on her desk, before continuing to dig around. "And my many apologies for not providing entertainment to a boy I didn't know, who was stealing money from my family."

"So that's what all that was about yesterday." Reeha said, turning her sharp grey eyes on Teagan and studying him. "You scared the shit out of Yusha, Osora. He showed up at the store and then my place."

"I was worried!" Shou threw his hands up in the air, the yellow in his hair catching the light in a contrast with the black. "She answered my call, was really fucking cryptic, and then hung up! She could have just said it was some kid looking for a thrill."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Teagan chuckled. "That was supposed to be the entertainment, miss Osora." He replied. "The chase. But you didn't chase, so it wasn't entertaining." He shrugged. He pulled out a pen, and started doodling on his hand absentmindedly, using a black pen. "And if I was just looking for a thrill, i would have used drugs, thanks." He added as he doodled. He wasn't doodling anything in particular, just random shapes and such, swirling around on his skin and drawing sharp lines and smooth curves.

@croccin-champagne

"Tokino doesn't chase." King stated, shaking his head. "I've never seen her chase anyone or anything, even-" He paused, as though he had been about to say something he shouldn't. "I've seen her catch though. It's like she manages to skip the chasing and immediately hit the catching. You'd have better luck getting a pigeon on the subway to chase you."

"You guys are being rude. Nobody's bothered to introduce themselves." Ren scolded gently, before smiling brightly at Teagan. "Please excuse my friends and their lack of manners. Most people call me Yama. This is Reeha, or Nakamura, depending on the customs of where you came from, and whether you care about them." He said, pointing to Reeha, who was still watching Teagan. Then he pointed to King, who's eyes were, oddly enough, bright blue now. "That's King, the one who seems perpetually upset by Osora's inability to feel. Too many emotions himself. Yusha is the brooding one over there, but don't worry, he's not as mean as he pretends to be. And you've met Tokino already. Welcome to Mitsuo Senior High School!"

@ElderGod-Icefire

Teagan nodded. "I see. Teagan Donnelly." He replied, gesturing to himself. "As for where I'm from…I have five different passports, so I have five different places that i have at least partial citizenship in. Japan is not yet one of them." He shrugged slightly, and kept doodling on his hand. "So. I don't give a shit about customs." He shrugged again. He looked over at them, cocking an eyebrow. "I feel like i may have come across the group of outcasts in this school. Am I right?" His mouth was set in an almost perpetual smirk, and a few crimson dyed strands of hair fell across his forehead.

@croccin-champagne

The group shared a look, before King burst into laughter.

"Not-not quite." He managed, inbetween his fits of laughter. "Some of us are, some of us really aren't. Yusha's one of the most popular boys in school, and I'd like to think I'm pretty up there. Yama is Yama, and everybody loves him. Either that, or they get their asses kicked. Those two are the outcasts." He pointed at Reeha, then Osora, the former flipping him off without a problem, and the latter not bothering to look up from the hunk of metal and gears she was fiddling with, a screwdriver in hand. "Sherlock and Freak."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Teagan nodded. "I see." He replied, still doodling on his hand. "Well. Technically I do not think i was wrong." He chuckled softly, looking around at the group. He ran a hand through his tawny blond hair, making it stick up all over his head. What he had said earlier about multiple passports and not giving a shit about customs was true. He had been raised so many places that he didn't really care about language and customs anymore. If the people didn't speak English, that wasn't his problem.

@croccin-champagne

"Not entirely. You'd have to be somewhat of an outcast to hang out with any of this group." Reeha said, turning her gaze away from Teagan to the book open on her desk. She flipped through the pages at an oddly fast speed, never having to go back, and didn't have any trouble talking while reading. "Not that anyone really tries too much. Osora managed to gain us the reputation of being untouchable."

"Abe should have watched his mouth when talking about you like that to his friends." Osora said simply, and most of the group winced at some shared memory.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Teagan shrugged. "Well, i didnt exactly choose to. This was the only seat left." He rapped his knuckles against the edge of his seat for a moment, then went back to doodling on his hand. He rolled up his jacket sleeve, and continued doodling, now slowly moving up his arm. Nearly his entire hand was covered in black ink in tiny, intricate designs that slowly worked their way up his fingers, then morphing together on his knuckles, continuing all over his hand.
