(I'm putting together something to help figure that out now! I think I'll actually post the starter first, since that will explain a lot, and then a brief explanation of how things will be set up from there! I'm really excited to start this, so if no one else asks to join by the time I finish creating a starter, I'll go ahead and close this roleplay out so we can start. (Just saw your post about Zander—I like the concept! Definitely a lot of room for chaos if the crystals affect how the weapon operates—which would remind me of one of my favorite fantasy weapons in the past, which was a gumball keychain that, when turned, would release a magic gumball that had a random ability. It could be an explosion, confetti, electricity, bubbles—anything, really! Anyways, whether the crystals change the weapon ability or just the appearance of the weapon itself, I'd be happy to roll with it!)

(Starter is taking longer than I thought it would, but I should hopefully have it up by Monday. This weekend turned out busier than I thought it'd be due to the tropical storm (and potential hurricane) that's supposed to hit near where I live sometime next week. (Also quick update, the storm I mentioned has become a hurricane and shifted closer to where I live. Last I heard, my area was expecting potential gusts of up to 90mph, and we have another forecast that'll tell us more in about another two hours. I'm not worried about my own safety, but it does mean I'll lose power for an unknown amount of time. It'll probably be a few more days until I get the starter up, unless I manage to get it up tonight–I wouldn't count on it, though. At least this way, Jaiden, if you join, then you have some time to post a character before that!)

((Good news!! I survived Ian! This is the first time I've had internet access since the storm and even now it's very iffy. I still don't have power back and I'm not sure when I will, but all things considered my area was VERY lucky. If you're curious and haven't seen on the news, you can google images of Cape Coral, Sanibel, and Captiva to get an understanding of the kind of devastation that occured.)

Generally speaking, I judge potential romance based entirely on the chemistry between characters. So I won't be actively shipping Mal or my silver-haired boy with anyone unless they seem to get on well. And while I'm on the topic, I'm totally open to writing polyamorous relationships if it seems to be headed in that direction! What about you guys?)
