I'm really bored and my other rp's aren't active right now, so I need a quick, active roleplay. No character sheet, just jump right in. The setting is a coffee house in a small town in northern Maine. You can have magic, weapons, etc. I just need an active roleplay.
Bree glanced around the empty coffee house, scanning the brick wall covered in paintings. She sat by a large window that looked out onto the small downtown. The sky was a light gray, and mist hung in the air. It was drizzling outside, and there was a chill as the door swung open.
Can we jump in and out?
yep! Just make an explanation of why if you're leaving permanently.
(Gimme a sec to choose someone.)
A pair of teenagers walked into the room. They were shivering slightly. The rain had just begun to get fierce as they had found the shelter. The girl looked around warily before taking the boys hand and settling in a booth in a corner where they began to whisper to each other.
Bree glanced warily at the two teenagers. She turned back to her book, however, choosing to ignore them. Still, they looked too young to be whispering that frantically. Maybe bree shouldn't act so high and mighty though, she had just turned 21.
“What is going on?” the girl hissed. “First the warning, now this? Is there something going on I don’t know about?”
He shifted uncomfortably. “Listen, I don’t know anything more than you. Just forget it and keep going.”
“Evan!” she cried. Then, realizing how loud she was, lowered her voice.
“I just killed a man to get us here.” she whispered. “If you know anything…” her voice broke.
“Don’t worry.” Evan said, pulling her closer to him. “You trust me right?”
She nodded and put her head on his shoulder.
Bree stood abrubtly, and crossed over to the two teenagers. "You killed someone?" She asked, tucking her hair behind her ears. Elf ears. That's how she had heard them.
So we can just jump right in??
( Alrighty then!! )
Kash jogged over to the nearest building, hoping the rain would stop soon so he could finally get home. He ran his fingers through his turquoise hair to shake the water droplets out, and pulled his thin sweatshirt over his avengers shirt and plopped down, feeling exhausted.
The girl jumped up from her seat. “Damn! How did you hear that?” she demanded, slipping her hands into her pockets defensively.
Cannon walked into a cafe he spotted avross the street, he was in need of some coffee after pulling 2 all nighters in a row. He went and sat down at a table by a window to decide what he wanted and wait out the rain.
When he had finally calmed his breathing, Kash looked around, spotting a few people gathered in the corner, but was quickly distracted by the newcomer. He shook his head and quickly pulled his phone out of his pocket to try and get his mind off of everything.
The girl grabbed Evans hand. “We gotta go. Now.”
Cannon walked up to the counter and ordered an ice coffee. He ran a hand through his dark blue hair which was soaking wet from the rain along with the rest of his clothes.
“No.” Evan said. “If we run now we make a scene.”
He turned to Bree. “What do you want?”
"To protect the innocent, I guess. I don't know, I'm not really a hero, but killing people is not okay!"
The girl raised her eyebrows and gave her a disdainful look. “Who are you to have such ideals?” She gave Bree a pitying look. “When you learn a little you’ll realize that you do what you have to do to survive.”
"That doesn't excuse ending a person's life!" Bree yelled, the regretted it. She ducked her head down, trying to make herself smaller. God, she hated confrontation! Why the hell had she spoken up anyways?!
“Shut the hell up!” she hissed frantically. “If we get arrested, we’re dead. Literally!”
Bree flinched, almost as if the girl had slapped her. Her eyes scrunched up, as if she was going to cry. "I-I just don't want anyone else to get hurt…"
The girl looked torn between retorting and comforting the elf. “I thought that once.” she said sadly, “Look at me now.”
