Aria smiled a little. "These will be great, I promise."
Aria smiled a little. "These will be great, I promise."
“I bet they will be, it smells good so that gives me hope.” Seren responded.
Aria smiled a little. Their drinks arrived, and she handed Seren hers. "Here."
“Thank you.” Seren took it in her hands and took a sip, “Wow! It’s really good!”
Aria smiled, and drank some of her own. "You're welcome." She replied. "Come on, you said you wanted to sit at the water?"
Seren nodded, "Yes. Let's go." She outlast the door into the long boardwalk. She walked down the brick steps leading to the beach and waited for Aria to catch up.
Aria nodded, and followed her with a smile. She had her bag slung over one shoulder, and kept a protective hand on it.
Seren found a small bench near the water and sat down, motioning for Aria to come over and hurry up.
Aria sat down beside her quickly, smiling a little. "Hey." She greeted.
"Hey," Seren responded after taking another drink of her frappe, "The sun is setting to set, look…" She looked out over the ocean, it's calming waves sparkling with beautiful colors of the darkening sky. Pinks, reds, purples, and several other colors blended together in the sky to look like a masterful painting.
Aria smiled, and looked. "Wow. That's…definitely one of the prettiest I've seen." she replied, glancing at Seren, then back at the sunset. "I'm serious."
"It sure is amazing…I've seen so many since I've spent a ton of my life in the water for pretty much my entire life…" Seren answered, the sunset shining reflecting off of her dark eyes. She closed them and breathes in the salty smell of seawater, "Gosh I love the ocean…"
Aria smiled and nodded. "Mm. I actually…I can't swim." she chuckled softly.
Seren turned to look at Aria, "I could teach you! I'm really good at swimming! It'd be fun."
Aria smiled. "Sure." she replied, looking at Seren. "That would be fun."
"Great, how about tomorrow then? Or anytime you want, I have literally nothing going on tomorrow or um any day, probably for awhile." Seren laughed lightly.
Aria nodded. "Alright. Should I meet you here at about…noon tomorrow?"
"Yes, that'd be perfect." Seren nodded, she continued drinking her frappe and looked back at the sky. The colors had started to fade and the sky was now starting to turn a deep bluish black with tiny white stars twinkling in the distance.
Aria took another drink of her drink, smiling a little.
“Anything you want to do right now?” Seren asked after a few minutes of calm silence.
Aria shook her head. "No, thank you. Uhm…you have somewhere to stay tonight, right? You look new in town."
“Oh yes, I’m staying at a hotel for now, I arrived here three days ago.” Seren replied with a smile.
"Alright." Aria smiled back. "That's good. And welcome to town."
“Thank you.” Seren looked back at the sky, “It looks like it’s getting pretty late, I should go. Um see you tomorrow.” Seren stood up and waved to her before walking off.
Aria nodded. "See you!" She called. She got up and started walking home again.
