Ace rolled his eyes and playfully bumped her shoulder once he got over there. “Oh whatever. Did I take you away from a date?” he teased, fidgeting with the cuff on his wrist.

Raena pushed his shoulder playfully, laughing. "No, you dork. Single pringle for life. Or until all the cute girls start being gay," she shrugged, then laughed at herself again, running a hand through her hair. "Oh my gods, I'm so stupid," she commented, rolling her eyes. "Ignore me."
Jidhr looked up at them, smiling and waving them over. "Hey! You made it."
Raena rolled her eyes, smiling. "Well obviously. It's not like there's anything else to do other than… yeah, there's literally nothing else to do today."
Jidhr shrugged, fiddling with the golden chain that housed the scarab. "It got boring."
(Hey, @CW_StarkSpangledBanner, could my character be able to hover? Like just maybe half a foot off the ground? IDK, that just seems like a not-very-powerful power to have. Or maybe she can snap her fingers and have a little candle sized flame on her finger? Can someone already do that? Idk. Also, would you be ok with letting her hold her breath for longer than normal, like 4-5 minutes cause she likes freediving? Just as one of her skills. Idk, I don't have to, that's just what I imagined for her lmao.)
"Isn't that what I just said?" Raena asked, quirking an eyebrow. "Anyway, I'm going to go swim because - yay water, I guess?"
Jidhr gave her a thumbs-up, crossing his legs on the sand. It wasn't beach sand - darker, and cooler, a little damper than normal - but he didn't mind. Water was water.
Raena smiled at him before walking straight into the water, not stopping when it reached her head. It was cold, but being under the water had a strange and very powerful calming effect on her. She wanted to just fall asleep, but she also wanted to live, so she slowly swam back up to the surface.
Ace sat beside Jidhir, giving him a soft smile as he did. The sun felt good on his skin, so he closed his eyes, just basking in it. He could fall asleep right here if he tried.
Finch sat up and opened his eyes noticing other people were there. "Heyo pals." He said quietly to no one in particular.
Jidhr nodded silently, smiling back to Ace for a moment before leaning back a little, his arms still supporting him above the sand as he looked out onto the cloudy sky.
((since @Reed is gone at sleepaway camp, does anyone else want to ship with Jidhr?))
(I can)
((chill))
Finch nodded then laid back down and closed his eyes. He was probably going to have a sun burn later. Though he didn't really think it through.
(does anyone want to ship with ace or is everyone taken?)
(Cassy is still free )
(Oh sweet. Wanna ship?)
Cassy saw the text and slipped her phone into her pocket, she quickly put away her flute and grabbed the case. Flute music always went well with the lapped sound of the water in the lake. She quickly walked down to the beach and saw her group of friends. There was Raena swimming in the probably frigid water, And the others sitting laying, talking on the sand. She wiggled her own toes around in the stuff, she had once again forgotten to grab shoes on her way out the door. She walked closer to every one then plopped down breaking out her flute and playing a simple, soft, and cheery song. Fun or no fun she still had to fill the practice quota
(Oh sweet. Wanna ship?)
(Sure!)
Raena rolled her eyes when she heard the music coming from on land. "You don't have to flex so hard on us," she called, mildly amused.
Jidhr looked over, raising a bit of an eyebrow. "Why'd you bring your flute?"
Finch opened his eyes and looked over at her. "You practice, way too much." He mumbled.
Cassy lowered the instrument as the last note faded over the water, "You all know perfectly well that I need to practice four hours a day, I just needed 3 more minutes to be done." She was putting away her instrument as she spoke, "And I wanted to get down here, playing outside is much better then indoors." She snapped the case shut, "There, done, now I can have a life outside of my instrument."
Ace opened one eye, looking at the girl beside him. “Are you going to play a pretty tune for us as the party tonight?” he asked, a sly smile on his lips. If he was being honest, he was dreading the party tonight. Although he loved hanging with his friends, his parents were acting weird lately, and he was pretty sure it was because of the party.
