“You heard the girl, it’s ‘not that bad’!” Haga poked her brother in the side, “just eat already!”
Hatake jumped, “You eat first!”
“Fine,” Haga sighed and took a bite. The girl was wrong. It was that bad. She refrained from spitting it out, “See? Not that bad!”
“Ok… if you say so…” Hakate took a bite of his mush, spitting it out immediately, “You lied!”
“You need to eat!”
lilly continued to eat it really was bad but she ate quickly and drank the water that was also on the tray. "so whats you guy's powers?" she asked the two older kids.
"Ah I see. You must be the one who made the power go out, twice. No bad."
"Thanks. I should probably zap the damn door and be on my way, but there's not enough sound here." Nienna observed.
Haga looked at the girl, glanced at her brother, and looked at her again. She raised an eyebrow, “Why is that important?”
Dawn laughed, "I'd have been gone long ago if I didn't have this dang thing on my neck. It kinda keeps my powers at bay. Really kinda sucks." She sighed and sat back down.
"why what are your powers?"
"I can kinda shoot lasers outta my hands and eyes." She laughed at her own disappointment. She was here because of these dang powers. Something she never singed up for. "How about you? How does your power work?"
Haga looked at the girl, glanced at her brother, and looked at her again. She raised an eyebrow, “Why is that important?”
"I don't know, I'm just bored. sorry," she said looking down at her plate now just poking at her food.
Hatake nudged his sister and whispered, “Apologize.”
Haga sighed and complied, “I’m sorry, I’m just a bit on edge, I don’t know who to trust.”
(What I want to badly happen:
Dawn: How old are you?
Nienna: 11
Alex: Wait you're 11?!
Nienna: Yes, why does everyone keep asking this, do I need to wear a sign saying, "I'm 11 years old, kill me first!" No thanks Yesh.)
"its ok I get it. Would it make things better if I tell you mine?" she didn't wait for the girl to answer "Its fire! like If I didn't have this collar on I could just be on fire. its cool but most don't like it."
(That was me in 7th grade bc I'm always the second youngest, the youngest is younger than me by 4 or 6 months)
(What I want to badly happen:

(Alrighty. 😂)
"So how old are you?" Dawn asked expecting her to say something like fifteen or older.
"11." Nienna responded casually, it was really quiet so she didn't need any headphones
"Eleven!?" Dawn asked in disbelief.
"Yes, why does everyone keep asking this, do I need to wear a sign saying, "I'm 11 years old, kill me first!" No thanks Yesh." Nienna snapped back in annoyance.
"its ok I get it. Would it make things better if I tell you mine?" she didn't wait for the girl to answer "Its fire! like If I didn't have this collar on I could just be on fire. its cool but most don't like it."
Haga nodded, “You should be more careful about who you trust. Don’t go telling everyone willy-nilly,” Haga suggested, “For example, now I know how to counteract your power.”
Hatake sat, staring at his food. He pushed it away after thinking he saw a big in there and listened to the conversation.
"Alright alright, calm down." Dawn didn't quite believe it but it must of been true. Right? "I have a plan" dawn said the hint of a smile in her voice.
"It's not like we can use our powers now anyway. I can't even heat up this practically ice cold food. I don't plan on getting into any fights with anyone but maybe the guards and the already know all of our powers. I also can't really control my powers so it's not like I could use it to fight people." she rambled. she really never could control what she was saying, that always got her in trouble at home.
Haga was getting a headache from all the rambling, “Yeah, yeah. I know, I’m just saying, if we were to get in a fight, I’d know your weakness.”
Nienna sighed. "alright I'm listening.
Lilly just shrugged "Oh well," she smiled and continued to poke at her food. she didn't think she could eat any more.
"How much noise would you need to short circuit our collars, just ours? And not turn out the power?" Dawn asked standing up and bouncing from foot to foot.
"Just a little bit, though I'm not sure how much noise you can make without attracting attention."
"I've been punching and screaming for a while now. I daught they'd notice." Dawn got ready to punch the wall and scream more. "Rember, not the power that'll drawl to much attention." Dawn started up screaming to be let out again, along with pounding on the door.
