Hatake smiled back. Crap, now it was awkward. He tried to keep the conversation going, “So, um, how are you…?” that was a stupid question.

Dawn hit the door one more time before crumbling to the floor in defeat. It was like the basement all over again, trapped with no way out.

(to make things more interesting how about the necklace don't work when they are in the room so they can like "save energy" or something like that. that way people can practice with there powers. but they can use it to break out of the rooms because the walls are made of somethings really strong and power resistant idk)

Hatake curled a lock of hair around his finger, “Well, this is… not exactly the situation I’d like to be in…” he muttered to himself.

In every room, there was a paper taped to the back of the door. it had the schedule for the day.
6am: wake up go to breakfast
7am: class
9: outside time
10am: class
12pm:lunch
1pm: class
4pm: free time
7pm: go back to rooms
8pm: lights out
During free time you are allowed to either go to your rooms or the library.
it was almost 12pm now

Dawn looked at the door reading the paper, perfect she thought to herself.

at exactly 12 the guards opened the doors. "everyone stands in a line and walk to the cafeteria," one of the guards said. lilly left her room and as soon as she did the necklace turned off and she couldn't use her powers.

Dawn lunged at one of the guards so soon as the door opened punching him the face, hard. Before she could get another hit in she felt someone grab her wrists and force her to the ground. "Let me go!" She growled.
