Jaxon took a deep breath before answering her question. He needed relax before his rage would be able to reclaim him. "My name is Jaxon. I once lived in this town, now decimated. I had a wife and child in that village… I don't …" He choked on his words. "Anything could've happened"
(Can someone catch me up?)
(I’m sorry for being inactive, I’m just not on the weekends.)
Pity and fear flickered in Isobel's eyes briefly before being replaced, now they were cold and hard. "No," she whispered, her voice cold. "Anything did happen. And now its over."
(Ah, actually nevermind. I‘ve read through it. I’ll introduce Libra once the time is right.)
Jaxon smiles and chuckles, "Where do you think you are?"
(The introduction sets us in a recently destroyed town. the character Jaxon hints that it is the same town where his wife and daughter lived.)
(No like, is this in a specific state or area that exists in real life? Or, does this town/state or whatever this area is does it have a name?)
(Fictional. Name: Lux Et Tanabris)
(Okay)
"Lux Et Tanabris, of course. I know where I am. I'm not lost, or anything like that, in case you were wondering," Isobel answered, looking away. "I should probably get going now," she added, shooting a look at the man in front of her.
"That wasn't the point," he grabs her arm gently, "It will strike again… and again and again." He looks into her eyes and a flash in his eyes. His eyes turn red, "Well! Who do we have here?! What might your name be?"
(Jaxon has one other being inside…his demon if you will) |
Libra had heard their conversation from the rooftop she was sitting, not knowing what time to break their argument. When the man's eyes turned red, Libra seemed interested. She stood up and made her way to them.
He swung his hand and blew libra away, "Insolent"
Isobel jerked her arm away from the man, her eyes flashing with rage. She flew a great distance from him, making sure that she was out of reach from his grasp, but just close enough that she could see him. "Don't touch me," she hissed.
Libra sighed and shape-shifted into a cat. A beautiful black and white cat. She ran over to Isobel looking up at her with a very confused look. Libra meowed and licked her paw while hissing at the other person.
Isobel flinched away from the cat suddenly next to her. Yes, she liked cats, but that didn't mean she liked all of them. She didn't like cats she didn't know.
Libra laughed mentally and immediately shape-shifted back to her original form. She was trying hard not to laugh, but immediately failed. She laughed and even doubled over.
"Jaxon" looked down at the village and paid no attention to the others. "A rather interesting site. The smell of dark magic reeks. Something more dangerous than what we have faced. Yet similar"
Isobel just glared at both of them, her eyes dark, distant, and cold.
Libra was able to stop laughing. "Dark magic, huh? Wait, what do you mean by we have faced?"
Jaxon did not acknowledge them. "I see… Although I would never, I am not yet certain they can be trusted. Humph. They are certainly not trusted to know the power we have." He takes a look at the two and smiles. With a wave of his hand, a cloud of smoke surrounded him. His form was gone, but his voice remained. his voice implied something intelligent and cunning, "My apologies. We are quite an inseparable team really."
"…I should probably get going," Isobel said, sighing. "Besides that, you're… kinda creepy, to be honest," she added, mostly directing it at the man.
"I get that quite a lot," he looks aside and glares back, "you were here…he is coming for all of us now. His intentions are still unknown"
“Why must I always stumble upon creepy, magical people?” Libra asked to herself. She closed her eyes, hummed a bit and when she opened her eyes, she found herself sitting on thin air. In other words, she was floating in the air, while sitting. “Seriously!? After years of training, when I don’t even try, I accomplish it‽”
